Film Appreciation Society : Annual ReportIt was yet another glorious year for the Film Appreciation
Society. The Society came of age with the completion of its fivesplendid years on 31st of October, 2011. Ever since its establishment, the society has been dynamic and has provided unique opportunitiesfor the enjoyment and appreciation of the best in world cinema.
It aims to increase access to a wide range of films based on avariety of themes, and to provide behind – the – scene insight throughopen discussions and seminars in order to develop a penchant for filmappreciation among the students and to create a dynamic community of art enthusiasts.
This year, it was even better, with the screening of highly diverse and discreetmovies ranging from Charlie Chaplin’s “Modern Times” which is a wonderful blend ofcomedy and social drama and provides a look into the world of the ‘Great Depression’by people who lived it, to the world of dreams and fantasy of the celebrated directorGuillermo del Toro’s “Pan’s Labyrinth” – the story of a young girl stuck in a situationthat she does not like or control (an analogy to the fascist regime of those day.) “Loveand Death” – a scathing satire on Russian literature and people who engage in mockserious philosophical debates showed u the glimpse of the genius of Woody Allen athis comic best while “Waiting for Godot”, a movie adaptation of Samuel Beckett’stheatrical masterpiece introduced us to the philosophy of Existentialism.
A seminar on ‘war films’ was organized which saw the revered presence of SanjayKak, a renowned independent film-maker as the chief guest and the screening ofGillo Pontecorvo’s “Battle of Algiers” – a cult movie on ‘war’ based on occurrencesduring the Algerian War (1954-62) against French colonial occupation in North Africa, and Ari Folman’s “Waltz With Bashir” – a memoir, a combat picture and a piece ofinvestigative journalism depicting Ari Folman’s struggle to make sense of hisexperience as a soldier in the Labanon war of 1982. The seminar was a huge successand deepened our understanding on the complex issue of terrorism and counter-terrorism. Students turned up in large numbers and their enthusiasm during the post-screening discussion bears testimony to its success.
The credit for the success of this seminar also goes to the honorable membersand the volunteers who assisted them, for their painstaking efforts. They really did acommendable job.
It was a great year, but the Society still has a long way to go and our utmostpriority will be to keep up the good work in the succeeding years as well.Convener : Ranjan Swarnkar, Asstt. Professor RizwanQaiser from Jamia Millia Islamia wasinvited to deliver a talk on ‘MaulanaAzad and Making of Modern India’.Professor Qaiser started with the notethat Maulana Azad is one of thebiggest Indian leaders that India couldproduce. He played a very importantrole in garnering nationalisticconsciousness amongst the masses. Henot only put forward values importantfor making modern India, but arguedfor secularism & religious tolerance asthe basis for “New India”. He firmly believed that the talents of all Indians are alikewhich cannot be broken into various interests on the line of religion. He was opposedto breaking the country on lines of religious identities. For him India stood forcomposite secular country which could show the world the path for religioustolerance. He stressed that in order to set an example India could spearhead arevolution in all spheres. As the first Education minister he had set the foundation fornew educational polices too. Teachers and students attended the talk and asked veryinteresting questions and showed keen interest in the life and times of Maulana Azad.
On the whole it was a very interactive session that saw curious minds exchangingthoughts on Maulana Azad and his life.

Anup Chatterjee, Convenor, Alumni Meet 2011 presented a brief sketch of the evolutionof the alumni meet in the college, He also focused on some of the highlights of thecurrent meet.
The formal Speeches were followed by honouring ten Eminent Alumni withshawls and mementoes. The teachers who had superannuated since the last AlumniMeet were also honoured with mementoes for their distinguished services to theCollege. The meet also took an opportunity to felicitate for the first time those alumniwho are currently on the staff of the college in various capacities. The recipients fromall the categories spoke on this occasion.
The announcement of the recess and the invitation to lunch marked the conclusionof the formal part of the Programme. During the break, the students of the collegeenacted the much acclaimed award-winning Street Play ‘Yah Dilli Hai’. The guests, their spouses, the staff members and the volunteers while savouring their food, keenlywatched the play and highly applauded the stellar production. After the recess, whenthe participants took their seats in the pandal or simply basked in the sun in motleyassembled groups, it was time for a programme of Kawwalis and sufi songs underthe sponsorship of Sahitya Kala Parishad, Delhi. For more than two and a half hours, the signers captivated the audience by presenting lilting numbers. Nothing could bemore befitting than this performance by the lead-singers, Ms. Chanchal Bharti andMr. Sarfraz Chisti, particularly, who through their mellifluous but elan voicetransported the listeners to another world. It was almost a surrealistic experience. The troop also presented numbers at the request of the audience. By the time, thefinal number began; the sun had already turned crimson. The guests had starteddispersing, as the trees started reverberating by the sound of the chirping birds. Thedusk had gradually descended on the venue, reminding us that the exciting day wasfinally coming to an end. The singers were felicitated with bouquets as it was time tobid adieu to them. We reluctantly took leave of each other carrying the wonderfulmemories firmly etched in our minds.

The Last Breath
The music of those screamsThe redness of that water
The restlessness in those silencesThe splinter of frenzy running through the bones
Can never be heard, can never be hushedThey will always linger over your memoriesLike the wings of demon spread out at night
coming closer to vex your mind
Cold breeze of your sinsMight haunt you in your nightmares
Waling bare foot on the ground of your insatiable liesPerhaps you were meant to turn into ashes
Which then be taken away by ThanatosGolden chains will embellish your ankles and wristsVeil of doomeness will cover your shamelessness
You will never be able to escape that inglorious darkness.
Broken mirror pieces of past approachesSlicing your slim, bringing sullen blood out
You might yell, you might cryBut God will be dead forever
When it comes to listening your sighsOlga of hell will feed on your rotten soul
Soon you will then realizeDeath is perhaps a blessing than the prophesised demise.

There’s a fairy you see,I met her down the lane,
In darkest corner seems so sane.
But it was not as I thought of it,Depravity was only in its pit,
But god’s grace smiled on my novice pace,Eventually she appeared with her serene face.
“She” who has some charisma in her eyes..“She” who has some loyalty in her voice…
“She” who has wonder on her lips..“She” who has motherhood in her touch…
Came to me and asked......................
Why I came to this unnamed street..Dark are its days,
Insanity in its ways,Red are its passion,
Black is only its fashion,Sinisterness is the only preaching,
Hatred is the only breeding,Why I came to this unnamed street…
Friends, I didn’t move my lips to open,But she read all that my eyes had,
(Close came she, eloquent was thee)Kissed my forehead and said
You are also the one who wants to be led(Who had the only song to meet,

I enjoyed my journey that was marveled…..
But from where is this noise coming,But from where…..
Ohhh that’s alarm clock summing?
Stop for a while, let me lie on my bed,Don’t you see that my eyes are still red,
Here I want to cherish that dream of fairy,Here I want to feel her last night kiss and merry…

Vikram Seth’s another Suitable book in the MakingBy Dr. Prerana Sinha
“India has changed so much and so little. My characters will belooking forward and back…. I will be exploring several complexissues, including politics, economics, gender, demography, theposition of villages relative to cities, finding a companion and
seeing whether that is for life I mean can you imagine ashaddi.com in 1951?”
The author. Dr. Prerana Sinha a faculty in the English department, ARSD Collegeplanned to meet the author, Vikram Seth in the recent Jaipur Literature Festival 2011held at Diggi palace at Jaipur. For the past six years it is known to be hosting a uniquefestival for literature lovers that throngs a number of regional, diasporic andinternational writers of today. Prerana Sihna has researched on all of Vikram Seth’sworks. Seth, generally known for ‘A Suitable Boy’ is in fact a versatile writer who haswritten in several genres. Essentially a poet, he has translated poetry from Chinese, written a travel book. Travel Through Sinkiang and Tibet, A Hitchhike, collection of poemstitled Mappings, All you Who Sleep tonight and The Humble Administrator’s Garden. Healso attempted a libretto called The Arion and the Dolphin and the famous The Beastlytales from Here and There . He wrote three novels in which one was a novel in verseentitled The Golden Gate, a unique work inspired by Pushkin’s Eugene Onegin, whilethe rest of the two are the well known An Equal Music and the aforementioned, Asuitable boy. His recent work is a double biography on his great grand aunt that iscalled The Two Lives.
In his characteristic, unassuming disposition Vikram Seth once again gave apublic appearance at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2011, on 25th Jan the fifth day of thefestival to a packed audience on the front lawns. Talking to the media regarding thelaunch of A Suitable Girl, a sequel to the much hyped & still popular A Suitable Boy, heexplained, "I decided to start in the present and with Lata my Protagonist, now 80years old. Broadly, a match is being sought for Lata’s grandson. He finds it easier toconfide in Lata, than his parents; to him the grandmother to ‘Pota’ relationship is veryinteresting".
The book is slated for 2013; however Seth was not too sure of the year just as hewould not disclose categorically about the thickness or the storyline of the novel.Like his earlier novel, this story will expand beyond a family drama portraying India’sjourney from 1950s, the Nehruvian era into liberalization.
Seth announced that the novel had to follow because of the repeated requestsfrom readers and publishers. But he was not enthused about it. But around 2009elections, he said, “I started thinking about Lata and how her life would be now…..”
In the interview session he was questioned by journalist and author Somnath Batabyal,
“How is Lata?” Is she happy or unhappy in this novel?
UDAYACHAL
73
The answer to it was not easy since Seth said he can’t answer it, for the novel hasscarcely begun.
Eventually, he said,
"I may not have to undergo research like the earlier novel and there was certainlythe advantage of placing a novel in the present". All he had to do was “live life” and“use it as the grist for his material."
The author Dr. Prerana Sinha was fortunate to spend sometime exclusively withSeth which gave her the opportunity to ask a few questions:-
Q.1 Among the three novels you wrote, The Golden Gate, A Suitable Boy, An EqualMusic. I would consider An Equal Music to be the most profound & brilliant workby you. Do you agree?
Ans. (Seth): You might consider it to be the best because that is your viewpoint. Othersmight find the novel quite obscure as it is about European Classical Music.
Q.2 What technique have you used in An Equal Music? Is it stream of consciousnessor some kind of innovation has been used?
Ans. The novel’s main protagonist is Michael Holmes who has to be presented in thefirst person hence yes, I’ve used stream of consciousness and regarding someinnovation, well, certain passages begin with a syllable and continue likewise (Smilinghe says) Its good readers haven't noticed. But see, I’ve told you a secret.
Sometimes I’ve also used Pushkin’s or Eugene Onegin’s lines as a beginning since lowe my career of a writer to pushkin.
Q.3 You began The Golden Gate with a taboo topic, homosexuality but ended itabruptly with the Indian familial stability theme. Can you explain this?
Ans. (With a sardonic smile) That’s your job, a researcher’s work. Again, its yourviewpoint. That was the way I saw it happening.
Q.4 Your first book, Travel through Sinkiang and Tibet was a success and so was thenovel in verse, The Golden Gate. Yet you didn’t attempt these genres again. Why?
Ans. I do not write for an imagined audience. Inspiration must come to me in theform of a muse or any old fashioned thing. When I write I don’t think what is going toappease people and whether it will sell’?
Q.5 Readers find writers mysterious hence they try to unravel some parts of thewriter……..
Ans. (Cuts in between) But a writer should be allowed to have his own private spaceor if you try to unravel him he becomes a public face. I have my family, my spacewhich deserves to get protected.
Some questions were asked by audience like any suggestion he has for theupcoming writers. He gave a curt answer. “Do not force yourself to write, don’t writeany crab.” He was asked why he did not like the character Michael as portrayed in AnEqual Music. He replied,
UDAYACHAL
74
"Because this character is lonely, insecure and even selfish. Moreover, for me itwas difficult coming out of the skin of his character".
His wit and pervasive humour perpetually enlivened the session He gavecircumlocutory evasive replies to questions like how would he describe himself bestas a poet or a novelist or librettist or as a sculptor. In his representative, jocular veinhe started off as “ See this is a vase, I hold it……” and he went avoiding the whole ofit. Seth also enchanted the audience while he read out a few poems on the request ofthe audience like ‘All you who Sleep tonight’ which also turned out to be his favourite, and the children’s favourite, ‘The Frog and the Nightingle’.
Seth completely enthralled the audience in the one hour session and provedthat he really deserved the fame and admiration he got and for me this trip to Jaipurwas indeed rewarding and an extremely satisfying one.

Dream –Love –Life
I never knew that I’ll be ever writing this but I’m doing it as “my heart speaks tome to do so”.
Well to be true, the words quoted above are appropriated from the novel ‘TheAlchemist’, by now you might have predicted the ideas and the extent of influence onme.
I know that I’m amongst those daydreamers who desperately plan to wake upthe next morning but ultimately “5 minutes more” seems like the only adage theyever learnt since childhood. In the same way hundred and more times I devoutly jotdown my plans for achieving extraordinary dreams, but eventually end up into anostalgic thought of never commencing any action for it. And so the next phase alwaysgets occupied by these questions, larger than life… ‘Are my goals and dreams one?’‘Is that what I am made for…?’ What is my purpose to be here?’ And prevail, only thenever learned answers.
But what if a book answers all your questions..? In other words, at such timesyou really start liking books that solve your muddles and guide you like motivators. They teach you to plan your dreams and ultimately actualize them. Well, if not thatway at least, they motivate you to re - examine your goals once again. And this timeyou encounter some sufficiently inspiring passions, deep inside your heart, furtheringyou to a course of action…Okay fine! I know, I can’t be a healer by saying all this butI can always try.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, doesn’t need any introductions. It has alreadyfound its name amongst the list of bestselling books. I believe anyone would like thisauthor, especially when he’s a person rising from an aberrant life himself. Accordingto me he’s someone who has acquired an ultimate bliss.
Coming back to my motivation, The Alchemist, has a special attraction dealing withthe reality of dreams.
Well, if we go for story, It’s very simple- a shepherd (protagonist) seeks out hisway to realize and achieve his dreams. Abruptly, every time he stagnates back toreason the motive of his dreams and hence listens to his heat. Later God in somedisguise shows him the way to his dreams and makes him realize that your dream isyour purpose of life and ultimately…like every happy ending story, with a lot oftwists and turns, he ultimately realizes the desire of his heart. Now the Shepherd wasmore satisfied and wealthy.
So what’ so different about the story?
76
UDAYACHAL
It’s the way in which Paulo has used appropriate axioms at applicable placesand interestingly, he gives a definition to everyday happenings as the word “omens”.Throughout the story, the protagonist realizes that there is some purpose of his lifeand if someone really wants to achieve his aim “the whole world conspires to helpyou to achieve it” …really cool, this statement in itself makes you believe that thepeople you meet every day fulfill some purpose in your life and make you learnmore about your dreamland. The most important thing that I loved was the way heproved that people who don’t realize their dreams or special purpose in life are justlike animals. The ones who just live for food & shelter and merely “survive”. Thesebeings are ignorant to the life in life. According to the author, working on your dreamcan get started at any age or any time. The whole idea was that “dreams” are the oneswhich can never be lived again. These are usually forgotten and ignored just becausea person is fearful of failure and of losing his loved ones during the journey.
All this is not enough, there is lot more to grasp from his novel. One can easilyfall for Paulo Coelho’s writings and the spiritual approach he takes while narratinghis stories, they are all based on the coincidences that have occurred in his own life. His life is full of many positive accidents and strangers who indirectly guided him totake up the sole purpose of life making him read “omens” that eventually lead himto his current place and position.
Practically speaking, I don’t know if there is something like “omens” but Isurely know one thing if you want to achieve something then never stop from self-realizing it and executing your way soon, because nothing can be more satisfactorythan living the whole ups and downs of your life and having an opportunity to liveyour achieved dreams.
For everyone I just can say: don’t get frightened from the journey to dreamlandbecause ‘life itself is a journey, the most marvelous one’.

Sparkles of FlamePrologue
This is written form the perceptive of a school going boy, and was my first shortstory, written four years back. School age is always delightful and is often filled withmany permanent memories.
A handsome, young and a sophisticated guy is easy to recognize. His qualitiesare greening in his teens. You will find him sitting quietly with limited and essentialinteractions. His persona and charm will lure the mature. He is the one who willnever get any amenity from the girls of his age. Rather his chances become bigger andmore worthy only when the same girls finally learn from their bamboozling experienceswith hunks.
Adityaveer Kapoor had spent a good part of his years in Mayo College, Ajmer. He was a nice boy, very cultured, a lover of everything elite and exact. He wasn’tastute, not acquainted with the worldly ways. He was vulnerable of succumbinghimself to people’s petty intentions. He’d do anything for a girl’s life of permanenthappiness. Unfortunately, Adityaveer wasn’t aware of his own attributes.
Adityaveer had started with his new grade. It was the first day and he couldspot many freshmen in his classroom. He rolled his eyes and discovered new faces inevery corner. To his left in the first row, on the second bench, he spotted a girl lookingso simple, cute and innocent. She had dense eye-brows. Her eyes were brown. Shehad dimly fair complexion. Her face was round with a small and perky nose at thecentre. Her long-mile smile was little unfamiliar but very lovable on her facial built.Must say, the girl was really attractive. Adityaveer was happy sitting near her. Hismind began to think of approaching her and present her the ‘real him’. He greeted herwarmly and welcomed her to the new institution. The girl really seemed true to herface, shy and innocent; she didn’t interact much. She was obliged of getting warmattention on the first day itself. She found herself lucky. The boy was dying to hearfrom her again and again.
And suddenly he heard a soft, compassionate and a cushioned voice.“Ek minute Rohit Ko bulana please/” Yes, it was she asking Adityaveer!Adityaveer, as if ultra charged called Rohit. His heart had started to throb faster.
The voice was so alluring that he didn’t pause to think of how she knew Rohit. Shealready knew his name and wanted to speak to him on the morning of the first dayitself. Later, after getting back his focus Adityaveer found Rohit being her ex-schoolmate.
This is the age when a true-life romance is generally sparked off. The bodies areyoung and attractive. The new emotions of adolescence are sacred. Adityaveer wouldnot be happier if this new girl, Komal turned out to be his first as the last flame of lovehad already ignited in his life partner.
The first day went comfortable with a latent anxiety for the desire of this girl.
78
UDAYACHAL
Days passed with little interactions each time. There was no significant sign of affinityfrom the girl’s side. Soon Adityaveer took her email and her cell phone number; hewas passionately in love with this girl. He had forgotten about the new subjects, newteachers, new worries and his new ipod. The girl seemed to govern his mind. It wasthe first time that something of this sort was happening to him. He was confused withthe emotions and actualized excessively of what seemed little right to impress thisgirl.
Adityaveer and his other friends enjoyed funny class room games with the new-comers. Once, while playing a game he had dared to propose the same girl, Komal. His confidence unexpectedly shook his mind again went off-balance and the fervourbegan to cluster his facial expressions. But it was just a funny game. He started toworry about sending the wrong signals to this girl. He hadn’t attempted anything ofthis sort before. He didn’t know what to do.
He went closer, sat on knees, in a trembled voice said, “Ab aage kya as a girl??).The institution seems to be good and not like the rubbish I’ve heard. Waise, what doyou think about me and the other freshmen?
"Kya"Komal”They had now started to spend time together, sitting together, eating together,
studying together and what not just to have each other’s company. Adityaveer seemendto be cherishing each and every moment of that time. His only problem was of finallyproposing this girl and formally entering into a relationship.
Once they both bunked a lecture together. The only option was of going to thearid field behind the academy wall. They went on and sat under the Margosa tree.Sitting quietly and doing nothing was making Komal uncomfortable.
Adityaveer said, “You know I really like your company, it just gets me readyfor anything, you get me emotionally stable.”
“…and your company will definitely land me into some crisis..” replied Komalin a very genteel and a humourless demeanour.
Under her sudden opinions Adityaveer was getting “bulky and clumsy.” Theexpressions on her face hinted her judgment of being with a cumbersome associate. And they both sat in a sullen silence.
These unfavourable vibes, grimaces and erroneous understandings alwayshindered Adityaveer’s plans concerning Komal. It wasn't only today but had happenedmany times when Adityaveer thought of taking any step closer. This was the onlyreason arresting his happiness. The girl threw many clear hints but situations oftenturned unexpected.
Things had always appeared pretty well, but some emotions were stillunexplained, not understood and leaving him into a quandary. He had taken this girltoo seriously and utterly wanted to express what he yearned. He was so determinedthat he had already acknowledged her as his destined wife in eternity. He got the

emotional strength from this girl. He believed in achieving all impossibilities withher positivity. Adityaveer had surely credited her as the woman to be held behindhis awaited success. He loved her for what she was and wanted her to love him forwhat he had promised to be.
His emotions were getting intense day by day. He was searching for the righttime to finally propose the girl. But Komal didn’t took as eager or intense as Adityaveer.Komal had started to catch Adityaveer’s feeling as covetous. Perhaps, his extracarefulness was making her uncomfortable.
By this time his career aspects too had started slipping by. He had already beenfacing issues with the subjects he had chosen. Komal had in her the answers for all hisproblems in life and now the sole eternal and everlasting had started to dwindle.
Adityaveer had vowed to marry only if he got an ideal woman, Well when hefound one alas, she was waiting for her ideal man. And this ideal man, maybe Komalherself was incapable of defining.
It was termed as ‘testing time’ by some and by others ‘everything would bealright’.
“ Arry! You’re so good looking, no need to fret, trust me you will get way morenice girls” asserted his friend Anandita, in all her right good will.
“If today she becomes the ugliest of all women, my love for her won’t abate”Replied Adityaveer in a very agitated emotional voice.
Finally the farewell day of Mayo college arrived. It was time to say good bye tothe batech of 1998. Adityaveer was well dressed like he always does at high occasions. He had decided to meet Komal personally after the curtain call.
He saw Komal at the event, they didn’t talk but their eyes communicated a lot.Komal was still hanging around with Rajveer Rana. She didn’t feel any concern forAdityaveer. The farewell went well, Adityaveer had cherished those last momentswith his batch mates.
It was now time to win Komal. He believed in victory of true love. It was theconfidence he lacked at first and now this could be felt in excess. He was positive ofwinning her. Komal couldn’t be spotted at the exit gate so he searched for her. Hespent an hour searching at the venue but all in vain.
He got depressed, maybe she left early and things would now be unsaid forever. With a broken heart he reached for his car parked behind the academy wall. What he saw could have taken a life time for him to recover. Komal and Rajveer hadbeen kissing under the same Margosa tree.
The one who had warmly welcomed first didn’t even deserve a warm goodbyeat last.
Feedbacks would be greatly appreciated: [email protected]

Are You Ready? When the notice for the submission of articles and columns
for College magazine was first announced, I was determined I willcontribute at least one article. The last date for submission was seton 9th January, 2012. I thought to myself, 'after the 3rd semesterexamination, during winter break, I’ll write one. The New Yeararrived and last date was approaching, everyday I looked at thenotice and reminded myself, I’ll write it today But I didn’t and 9th
Jan passed'. I realized my chance was over and I could not submitanything for the magazine. Few days later, another notice was upstating the extension of the date for submission on 20th. I was convinced I was notgoing to miss this time. Just like before I didn’t and 20th passed. This time I was sureI have no chance. I was angry and sad but could not help myself. Luck favours meand another notice was up stating the last date for submission on 30th. I was overjoyedand this time I didn’t miss it.
It got me thinking, why didn’t I submit it before? Why was it so hard to submitit on time? Why is everything done on the last minute? Let alone the article, almostevery work I had, submission of ‘forms’ for examination, scholarship, competitionand laboratory practical files, assignments, etc are done in the last minute, when itcan be done at the earliest. So, to clear my doubts I did a little bit of research byreading several articles and essays written about ‘time management’ in variouswebsites on Google. It helped me to a great extent but the real answer to my questioncomes from me. I realized all those days I was waiting for myself to get ready. I waswaiting for the right time to write. I was scared my articles might be rejected, no onewill read it, what’s the use of wasting my time, I don’t even know what to write.Everyday as I sat to write, I waited for an inspiration but since I was not inspired byanything, I kept on postponing my writing and as a result, I had nothing to offer. Andso, finally at the wee hours, I sat down and started writing. Eventually I was ready.
It gave me an important lesson, don’t wait till you think you are ready, becauseby the time you think you are ready, everyone else has done their job. Get out thereand just do it. If you waste your time thinking and dreaming of doing somethingfrom your seat, you are going to end up wherever you are. Instead, do it in the timewhen it is right. You are ready all the time. You might not be the best at it but you willhave something to smile for in the end. And you cannot please everyone nor everyonewill like you but even at your worst state, I can guarantee you, atleast one soul willbe pleased with whatever you are and whatever you do. If you are not convinced, you can check out the amount of people who idolized Saddam Hussein, Osama BinLaden and Adolf Hitler for instance. You are not less than anyone else. As the sayinggoes “anyone who told you that you are no good, they are no better”.

A Touching StoryThere was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated
everyone except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told herboyfriend she wanted to see the world. The boy friend said he would marry her.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off.She was able to see everything including her boyfriend
He asked her; Now that you can see the world will you marry me? She lookedat her boyfriend and saw that he was blind.
The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn’t expected that. The thoughtof looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry mine".
Her boyfriend was left in tears and days later he wrote a note to her saying :"Take good care of your eyes, my dear for before they were yours, they were mine.
This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a veryfew remember what life was like before and how was their painful situations.
Life is a GiftToday
Before you say an unkind word-think of someone who can’t speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food – think of someone who hasnothing to eat.
Before you complain your husband or wife – think of someone who’s cryingout to God for a companion
Today
Before you complain about life – Think of someone who went too early to heaven
Before whining about the distance you drive think of someone who walks thesame distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job – Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.
And when Depressing thoughts seem to get you down – Put a smile on yourface and think you’re alive and still around.

Your Dreams Come True"Everybody Says work is worship
So, put some spice in it and make it"work is leadership"
Tell everyone your importance in the worldAnd do not wake up from your "own" Dream world.
Whenever you see and dream,Try and work hard to make it possible
and express yourself impressingly. And say, there is no word in your Dictionary called "IMPOSSIBLE"
Dreams are nothing more than fantasiesSo, do not get "Over attracted" to them.
Enjoy your dreams because they are only for youand always believe,
