Aims and Objectives:

The mission of the Training & Placement Cell at Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad

(Delhi-NCR) is to provide students a platform for exercising their potential to gain

precious experience by working in the industry. It works as an interface between the

organizations seeking talented and Young Graduate & Post-Graduate engineers of

different disciplines. Special training on logical & aptitude development, life skills, and

technical conceptual knowledge are provided to make the students employable in private,

government and PSU sectors.

In addition, the Training & Placement Cell of Echelon Institute of Technology also arranges

expert talks from Industry Managers having expertise in both Technical and Human

Resource domain. Various workshops and seminars are organized during different

semesters for the students to make them aware of the latest trends and technologies in

the industry.

Assist students to develop their academic & career interests.

Mentoring the student to set their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group discussion.

Assist students to develop and implement successful job search strategies.

Work with faculty members, department heads, and administration to integrate career planning with academic curriculum.

Empower students with life skills long career decision making skills.

Providing resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.

Act as an interface amongst students, alumni, and the Industry.

Co-coordinating summer training/internship program, live projects, guest lectures.

Training and Placement Cell (T&P) keeps on inviting various industries and reputed

organizations for campus recruitment drives. The talent acquisition at Echelon Institute of

Technology is done through the following process:

Identifying opportunities in the Organization

Training and Placement Cell contacts the Organizations to find out their

recruitment plan for the year. Alternately, the Organizations intimate the

T&P Cell about the available opportunities & the skill set requirement in

the form of job description through email or phone.

On Campus or Off Campus

Training and Placement Cell contacts the Organizations to find out their

recruitment plan for the year. Alternately, the Organizations intimate the

T&P Cell about the available opportunities & the skill set requirement in

the form of job description through email or phone,

Identifying students as per the skill set required by theOrganization

Training and Placement Cell matches the profile of the students visa vis

skill set required by the organization. The shortlisted profiles were then

sent to the organization for further short listing.

The Pre-Placement Talk/Company Presentation is an opportunity for the students and the

organization to interact with each other, to clearly understand the job requirements,

company expectations, and job profile offered.

After following the selection procedure, the corporate selects the students and Offer

Letter been given to the students with the joining date.

The organization is requested to give a pre-placement talk covering the following aspects:

Transparency, fairness and equal opportunity to all are the hallmark of the placement

process at the Echelon Institute of Technology.

Notice regarding the Job Profile & Date of Interview will be shared Through Notice Board

/ Through Email / Through WhatsApp. Students who are interested and fulfill the

eligibility criteria laid down by the company are expected to give their name to the

Training & Placement Cell.

The name once submitted to the Placement Cell for the selection process, will be

considered final. Withdrawal and/or absence will lead to expulsion from further campus

placement drives.

Candidates getting Job offers through their own are expected to inform and submit their

Offer Letter to the Placement Cell.

Students appearing for the campus placements drive should be in formal attire and

should maintain dignity and conduct. Failing to do so may result in expulsion from the

placement drive.

program by enhancing and polishing their technical and soft skill.

This training is focused on the following areas:

sharp & in a progressive manner.
