2. This will open a WordPress dashboard, which is the technology used to create Langblogs.

There's a chance that you will be asked to sign in to the Campus again.

Image. WordPress dashboard. Once there, scan the left sidebar for Posts and choose the option All posts. This will bring up the list of posts.

3. You will only see one entry in the list. It shows up by default any time a new Langblog is created. It's automatically given the title Hello world! and is accompanied by a comment. We suggest deleting this default entry. Otherwise, you can edit it into your first real Langblog entry. From this screen, you can create a new entry (1) or edit an existing one (2). Both options will bring you to the entry creation/editing screen.

4. From the entry creation/editing screen, you can:

Image. Creating an entry in WordPress.

a. Give the entry a title. b. Prepare the entry's content. By clicking on Add Media in the upper left-hand corner,

you can upload previously created multimedia files or record new audio or video files using your computer's microphone or webcam. For further information on how to do this, visit the next section.

c. Move the entry you are creating/editing into an existing category or include it in a new one you need to create.

d. Choose a cover photo for the entry you are creating/editing. Bear in mind that if you add a multimedia file, a thumbnail will be used as the cover photo, regardless of whether you choose another image.

e. Save the entry as a draft to continue editing it later or preview it to see how it is coming along. If you save only, your students will not be able to see it.

f. Post the entry so that your students can access it. If you are editing an entry, the button will read Update.

5. When you click on Publish or Update, your changes will be saved and become visible to your students. You will also see the links you can follow to check out the entry:

If the entry contains a video, it will show up at the top as pictured, rather than where you have put it inside the text. PLEASE NOTE: The links to edit or perform admin duties on the Langblog only work for those users with proper authorization.

Adding a multimedia file to an entry or a comment Whether you are editing an entry in WordPress or putting together a comment in Langblog, the window that opens when you click Add Media will always be the same.
