The key mechanism posts of SE-200 and SE-240 series flutes are first soldered to a rib (metal strip) and then to the body, greatly increasing the reliability of the key mechanism.

The walls of the tone holes are raised directly from the body instead of soldered on. The rolled top ends prevent the pads from being damaged.
