Designed for navigation in extreme conditions the Transocean includes a large capacity and quantity of ballast pockets, large area drogue anchors, -15°C inflation temperature (group A), double insulating floor, fluo orange canopy with automatically erecting arch tube, 4.3 cd. outside light and retro reflecting stripes.The Transocean ISO 9650-1 also features a ballasted reversible ladder and grab handle to ease embarking.

The Transocean ISO 9650-1 also features a ballasted reversible ladder and grab handle to ease embarking. This system allows the victim to hoist himself up on the ladder and then topple easily into the raft. Should the liferaft inflate upside down, the boarding ladder simply reverts, to allow the victim to pull himself on the capsized liferaft and make it easier to turn over the raft in its natural position.

Two types of survival equipment packs are available, depending on the expected time that the victim may spend in the raft waiting for the rescue teams : the emergency pack includes water and food (rescue forces expected after 24 hours) and a standard pack (rescue forces expected within 24 hours).

There are few things more dangerous to crew than a sinking ship, with EEL (Emergency Escape Light) you can reduce your risk of tragedy.

The EEL Emergency Escape Light was created to help prevent loss of life at sea. When a vessel capsizes it can leave the crew or passengers in complete darkness, upside down and disoriented.

How it works:EEL’s control PCB registers when the vessel rolls over 60° from its mounted angle, activating immediately with a powerful 300+ lumen output. If flooding occurs, the light will illuminate with the detection of water (when immersed for over 5 seconds).

The unit has a minimum 6 hour battery life. EEL is IP67 rated, also activating on detection of water during flooding.

The EEL is designed to be installed low and near doorways and exits.

The product has a built in test mode and a 2 year standby battery life – which is easily renewed by visiting an approved exchange centre.
