Change the language toEnglish using the buttonin the top right corner1.Proceed with theregistration by clicking onthe indicated button.

Choose the DoctoralSchool.






Pick the appropriateprogram.






Click on the ”Sign up”button






You will be asked to log inusing your IRK account. Ifyou do not have one, clickthe circled link. If youalready have an account,log in, and skip thissection of the guide.






Agree to both of theseconsent forms in order tocontinue.






Type in your e-mail andpreferred password. Thee-mail you choose will beyour login.






Afterwards you will beredirected to the loginpage, with this notificationshown. Please check youre-mail inbox (or spamfolder) for a message [email protected] . Werecommend setting up aspam exception for theentire uwr.edu.pl domain.






You should receive thefollowing e-mail. Click onthe link provided.






After clicking on theactivation link you will beredirected to the loginpage with the followingmessage. You can now login using your e-mail andpassword.






This is the home page ofyour IRK account. In orderto complete yourregistration, you need tofill in the informationrequired in the circledtabs.

The personal forms tab isdivided into the followingsubsections. You need tofill all of them.







The basic personal datatab.







The international candidate

tab. It will appear only after

filling in the basic personal data

tab. Choose the applicable

answer. You will be asked to

upload a scan of the relevant

documents. If you require a

student visa, and none of the

other options are applicable,

choose ”I do not meet any of

the conditions mentioned

above” and continue.







The address and contactinformation tab. Pleasespecify the country codewhen writing a foreignphone number. The postalcode format shown is validin Poland. All foreignformats will also beaccepted in this field. Ifnot applicable, leave astring of 0’s in the postalcode field.







The photo tab. Please,read carefully therequirements at thebottom.







The education tab. High school

fields are mandatory. For high

school type, please choose

”liceum ogólnokształcące”,

which means ”general high

school”. In order to apply for a

position in the Doctoral School,

additional documents in the

Higher Education section will

be required. Consult the

program’s rules of admission for

a list of required documents.







In order to add documentsregarding your highschool, click on theindicated button.







Fill in all the fields relevant to

the type of high school

document you plan to provide.

The field ”Issuing institution

type” has some translation

errors. In general, if the

document was issued by your

high school, choose ”Liceum

Ogólnokształcące” or ”Uczelnia

zagraniczna”, otherwise pick

”Foreign institution” or

”Other” if you are unsure what

to choose. You may be required

to upload document scans once

Once you provided all therelevant informationregarding your high schooldocuments, click on theindicated button to specifyyour grades.







If the previously indicatedbutton was not shown,you can access your gradesdirectly via the educationtab.







In this window you need to

specify your grades and/or

other relevant information. In

order to do so, tick the marked

boxes and write the score.

Fields in this window differ

depending on the type of

document provided. Carefully

read what needs to be written

in every field and use google

translate if some of the

information appears in polish.







In order to add documentsregarding yourcollege/university, go backto the education tab andclick on the indicatedbutton.







In the first field, you willtypically need to choose”Foreign diploma entitlingto undertake third-cyclestudies”, or Polish diplomaof ”master”, whichever isapplicable.







Once complete, you shouldspecify your exam scores /grades. The button to editthem will also appear inthe education tab.







In this window you need to

specify your grades and/or

other relevant information. In

order to do so, tick the marked

boxes and write the score.

Fields in this window differ

depending on the type of

document provided. Carefully

read what needs to be written

in every field and use google

translate if some of the

information appears in polish.







You may also add anyadditional documentsregarding relevantachievements, languageproficiency or other usingthe indicated buttons.







The additional personalinformation tab. If you arenot a Polish national,leave the military servicesection blank.






In the enrollment tab, youwill be asked to specifythe program you wish toenroll to. If the systemdidn’t register the choiceyou made in the ”Firststeps” section, pleasefollow the circled link.






Choose the appropriateprogram.






Click on the ”Sign up”button. If you did not fillall required forms, an errormessage will appeardirecting you to themissing sections.






If all previous forms were filled

correctly, you should see the

following screen. Pick the

appropriate document entitling

to undertake studies. In the

field ”source of education

financing” pick ”Doctoral

School of the University of

Wrocław - free education” if no

other option is applicable.






If everything was donecorrectly, you should seethe following screen. Youshould also receive ane-mail notification.






At this point, returning tothe enrollment applicationtab will show the followingscreen. Click on the”Documents and furthersteps” link.






Download the generateddocument, print and signit. You will need to deliverit with all other requireddocuments. Check thequalification criteria in theprevious screen for details.You may need to usegoogle translate.






The payments tab will list all

required payments, and the

bank account number to

transfer the money to. There is

an option to pay via the

internet, using a select number

of Polish banks by clicking on

the button ”I pay”. In order to

pay from a foreign bank, the

IBAN number would be

PLXXXXXXXXXXX (where X

is the bank account number

listed in the tab) with BIC code

WBKPPLPP.






The messages tab willcontain anycommunication from IRKadmins or other users.






The notifications tabcontains all informationregarding your ongoingrecruitment. You willreceive an e-mail message,when a new notification ispresent.






The consents tab willcontain all legaldisclaimers necessary forthe purpose of enrollmentin accordance with Polishand international law. It isvital that you accept all ofthem.
