We at Akshara believe, children should be given their own world of charm and fun. We emphasize on the environment as it plays a vital role in triggering curiosity and enriching their learning experience. A student, who is going to spend a little more than a decade in a school, must be treated with an opulent natural realm, they could cherish every minute of the day.

Our buildings are fastidiously designed with geometrical accuracy, to inspire attention and inquisitiveness. Computer Lab

We have more than 200 high speed core - i7 processing computers, with ultra high speed internet connectivi-ty and 24hours backup. It looks more like an IT company than a school computer lab. We teach coding to sixth graders, so they could become the next “Mark Zuckerberg”.

Our library consists of more than 4000 volumes of racked texts and reference books. We have subscribed to numerous maga-zines and journals for the students to stay up-to-date. It is completely digitized with 25 computers, kiosks and tablets composing a gargantuan amount of e-resource database, encompassing ejournals, ebooks, research papers, question papers etc. We have 1250sqft of fully functional study space. We have an IT infrastructure, where students can check, reserve and extend their borrowing, even from their mobile phones. They have both a common reading floor, as well separate rooms for group study or discussion.

Playing tennis improves reaction times, muscle tone, strength & flexi-bility. We aim to create national level tennis players from our school.

We have all encompassing atheletics facilities and train our students un-der different trainers for the sport of their wishes. It improves their team-work, perseverance & commitment.

Football is an international game, which has been aspired by many in-dians over the years. We have a FIFA spec football field to improve both physical and mental toughness.

Our indoor facility has 3 badminton courts, enabling students to smash their way in to success through rig-orous practices. It also helps sharpen the mind as well as fitness.

Our indoor facility has a separate swimming pool and table tennis boards, where we train students, who are inclined to take either as their preferred sport.

Volleyball is the game of strength and coordination. It demands great upper body fitness and reflexes. We train our students, to national level tournaments, should they prefer it.

Aksharans love the challenge a game presents, when most schools are cramming their students with homework. They are mandated to take part in atleast one game during their time of study. We have incorporated agriculture as a curriculum in our school. The reason is to make students understand that nature is a finite source and they must appreciate its generosity for mankind’s prosperity. They understand, how things grow, live and die. From flowers to potatoes; farming and gardening introduces knowledge about how, food gets onto their tables. Agricultural education at a young age helps children get perspective on their lives and the world around them. They tend to appreciate the hardwork of farmers and do not take nature and their food for granted.

Students at Akshara, show tremendous interest potential in theatre skills. They are encouraged to pick atleast one form of expression, because, we don’t know, who might be the next A.R. Rahman or Kamalhas-san, until we give them a chance. We have various musical instruments, the students could pick one of their choice and learn playing it through our master tutors. We regularly conduct stage programs, where our students take part and exemplify their natural talents.
