Vice-Chancellor, JNTUK Kakinada

I am pleased to know that Dadi Institute of Engineering and Technology is celebrating its 14th Anniversary this year and is coming up with the latest issue of Memoir- the annual college magazine.

Education is much above than merely providing employment. It includes evolving with a different view, developing different perspectives and opening your mind to the enormous possibilities, and ultimately emerging as world class human resource. I congratulate Sri Dadi Ratnakar, Chairman of DIET for working on those lines.

It is learnt that Dadi Institute of Engineering & Technology is offering intellectually challenging and rewarding atmosphere where students are able to develop self confidence to face the challenges of future. I heard that apart from strengthening the teaching-learning process, research and extension programmes, special focus on extra-curricular, sports and other similar activities to foster global competencies among the students is given priority.

I am confident that with its commitment to excellence, the college will achieve greater heights in near future.

I congratulate the editorial team for wonderfully articulating the various events and capturing the student talents.

This project is a design and implementation of a hand gestured robot. This robot senses the gesture (right, left, forward and backward) of our hand and moves in that direction. It consists of a Micro-Electro-Mechanical Accelerator Sensor (MEMS) which sense the gesture and produces an analog signal corresponding to the gesture and this analog signal is given to Analog to Digital converter (ADC). The signal from ADC will be transmitted through micro controller and HT12E. This will be received by the receiver circuit and this signal is given to driver module which controls the motors. Her message to the young women is whenever you are in a situation of havoc don’t have an anxiety attack. Face the situation with a calm mind. You have many tricks to save yourself from the situation.

Women should respect women first then she will be respected by everyone says Mrs. India 2020

As the educational system is faculty and student centric, It is the duty of every institute to ensure appropriate standards for Teaching and Learning Process. As a part of this process the students are motivated to match the standards to the industrial and societal needs.

Student Activity center at DIET also provides opportunity for the students to learn what they dream of like Music, Dance, Art, Public Speaking etc. Our SAC students have brought laurels by winning prizes at various cultural and literary meets.

While the institute puts the students to higher degree of learning through this approach of beyond the text book and the students are

guided by providing full freedom to develop the capabilities and qualities in handling several activities and being active members of professional bodies like , IEEE, IETE, IEI, CSI, ACM etc.

Coaching in Music and Traditional Dance is given by our own Faculty Members who are Certified professionals.

Some eminent visitors to our Student Activity center in the recent times are Tollywood Playback Singer Smt. S. Geetha Madhuri and Sri Rishanth Reddy, IPS, ASP, Narsipatnam.

hooked up in a strange situation where the question doesn't stop and the answer never comes…

The other way is to start with only one job, try it, learn it, fight it out and one day, you start enjoying it. Either

ways, we could find the right answer at some point of time.

It must be a path that others would look up to. It must have the essence that would drive people towards their

destination with minimum damage.

What is more important is not the standard of living, but living with good standards. That should be our ultimate

purpose of life according to my immature mind that is ever ready to accept its ignorance.

One is to try out many things and out of the various activities we go through we may choose the job that best

suits us, the one that gave highest success and brought us the greatest amount of appreciation.

Even after several attempts, if we fail to like it, we have no other choice but to at least do the job in a way we

would like to, because, that is what we are destined to do (probably!) Actually, there are two ways of arriving at

the purpose of life.

We should at least be able to influence a negligible percentage of people around us and help them learn a few

aspects, which would not only lead them to prosperity, but also keeps a constant check on how cruel life can be

at times.

Finally, after a confusing analysis on the purpose of life, I would say that, no matter what we do, how we do and

why we do, we should always make sure we live in a way that is useful for others.

This is when wisdom comes to our rescue. According to it, everyone has a particular job to perform on this

planet. No matter if we are aware of it or not. Accidentally, if we get to know what it is, another question arises.

i.e.; do you like that job or not?

But, whether you like it or not, if we are meant to do a job, we will have to do it.

All that matters is the way you perform it. As they say, if we don't get to do what we like, we should start liking

the thing we do.

But suddenly, from some nook and corner of my brain, it springs up every now and then to compel my ignorant

mind to expose the way it has been letting me lead a purposeless life.

Why did we give so much pain to our mother to get in to this world?

In this case, I am not sure of the first reason, but with full authority, I may say that the second reason holds good.

It has already been said that there is no point living the same year a 100 times and call it a life time.

Usually, there would be two reasons behind every question. One, is to know whether anyone has got the

answer; and the other reason, to express that I don't have an answer.

Why did we trouble our father to feed us and why did we take the support of everything around us to grow up in

to an individual? If this is a stupid question that has very little meaning, that's okay!

How many of us are aware why we are here?

If I am questioning this way just because I don't have anything else to do, that's absolutely fine.

If on a day, I ask myself this question, I end up scratching my head with very little success in finding an answer.

So, I have been trying to avoid it by all means and somehow, managed to gather a few peaceful days without

this nuisance.
