It is always wonderful to see new faces at ourHealing Services. You are very welcome to attendand we are looking forward to meeting you. Perhapsyou intend to holiday in Blackpool, if so then tell usand we can negotiate low priced accommodation foryou. You may be on a day trip and that’s fine, comeand see your friends at the Sanctuary. You might bein a group, that’s fine we can accommodate all ofyou. Better still, if you are staying for a few daysthen you can see us every weekday if you like.

Membership of the Crusade is much more that thanjust about receiving the occasional magazine,making a phone call or writing a letter! Above all theCrusade is about fellowship and mutual support.That means everyone working together for thebenefit of every member. well in a few hours. Then a lady with a broken anklewas perfectly healed overnight. Several othersbecame better in days or weeks. I was highly elatedbut as I look back, I see my simple and pure faithbecame confused in a more materialistic approachto the healings. I became involved in a diagnosisthrough a medium, massage with olive oil andincreasingly more like a pseudo-medical practitionercarrying a bag of ointments, herbs and tonics! Theclear vision faded. My little world collapsed in amass of personal tribulations and financial disaster.

The next years were of reconstruction - spirituallyand materially. I still knew the burning urge to servebut was apparently restricted by the need to keepmy business successful in order to support my wifeand two children. The sense of frustration wasalleviated by a constant search for the light I firstknew, and by learning to love all people who camemy way. I also became increasingly determined to

make a lot of money so that I could one day releasemyself from the bondage of business and go forth toserve God again. How little I knew of the ways of theSpirit! When I look down the years from my presentpoint of vision, I stand in awe before the wisdom ofGod. He led me through every kind of difficulty,

apparent frustration, and many looming disasters - ahost of revealing experiences amongst the people -tempering me for the work ahead. I was consciousof this guidance, yet often greatly puzzled. The waryears brought an end to my business, but God sawfit to give me a rich experience in a Ministry where Imade many friends and learned many lessons. Still Isaved for the day I should be called upon to serve!Right from the day of my first illumination I studiedtheology most aspects of Christian Religion. Iinvestigated Spiritualism, Eastern Religions, EasternPhilosophy and became a Psychologist. My mindwas cluttered with a mass of information on both thespiritual and mental levels. My approach to Godbecame increasingly an intellectual exercise full ofcomplicated routine. Fortunately this involvedcountless hours of yoga-like meditation andcontemplation, and I can only assume that this keptsome of the channels open to the divine power.

Prayer is the simplest way of communing with theFather! It is a unity of souls that sets us free fromthe bondage of problems. You can do it anywhere andat any time. Of course faith is the essence of the divinecommunion and as we grow spiritually then we gain anawareness of God’s eternal presence in our lives.Divine healing of any circumstance is possible throughthis soul unity with God. He is the perfection thatindwells our very being and all creation is anexpression of His love in action! Just use plain andsimple language! You are speaking to yourHeavenly Father who knows your needs before youeven ask.

Knowing The Real YouBrother Andrew

It has taken me many years to really get to know the‘true me’ and occasionally I still surprise myself! Youmight have discovered your true self much morequickly, or it might have taken longer. In my opinion,the time it takes to discover the ‘real you’ has notime constraints at all.

Many say that life is a learning curve and I don’tdisagree with that. For some it is a steep curve andfor others it is not as challenging. The importantthing to remember is that we are all learning, all thetime. Some might say that learning is a process ofmaturity and I like to believe that we all improve withage because there is an opportunity to learn fromour mistakes and move on.

The important thing to realise is that none of us areperfect. We might struggle and strive in pursuit ofperfection, but only God is truly perfect. The one

universal spirit that dwells within can manifestperfection but for the most part we must accept thatwe can only do our human best and no more. Thatdoes not imply that we should not strive for personalimprovement, of course we should. Just look at theOlympic athletes and note their steadyimprovements over the years. Record after recordhas been broken and will continue to be. Seeking todo one’s best is always an important goal.

As a child I was not as capable as an adult, as aperson of mature years I can see where I ‘wentwrong’ and where there was room for improvement.I am sure that you feel the same. One thing I don’tdo is to ‘beat myself up’ over past errors and that isan important lesson for all of us. The past is historyand it cannot be changed but the future is yet to beborn. By planning and forethought today we cancreated a better future for ourselves and for others.

So, getting to know one’s self is one of the keys toimproving our ‘performance;’ we can learn fromeach other. We can listen rather than speak, we canunderstand rather that be understood. We can beselfless rather than being selfish. The positiveattributes always eventually win out over thenegative ones.

When you have a moment to be still, just listen the‘small voice’ of reason within. Consult with yourselfover plans and issues that concern you. The spiritwithin will answer and you will know the divinesolution to your needs. Yes, that even works foryour health as well.

When we know ourselves it makes us morepredictable and perhaps more easy to relate tobecause we have developed a degree ofconsistency. Perhaps more important than that, weneed to spend less time considering ourselves andthat should give us more time to help others to knowthemselves; we are part of a team and the teamworks!

How Can I Help You?When all is said and done you are the King orQueen of your universe. Treat and express yourselfaccordingly and one by one your grateful citizenswill give you acknowledgement, trust and support.For sure you will never be alone for hosts will loveand follow your example and keep you in theirhearts. You have seen the despair in a brother’s eyes andattitudes as you betrayed your divine inheritancecausing vast discomforts. Hope springs eternal in our hearts as we lookforward to a new beginning on January 1! After all ofthe New Year’s celebrations pass and winter settlesin again our hectic pace often slows. We canexperience a wonderful time of introspection andmeditation. We can seek out spiritual direction fromGod, perhaps either in private prayer or in Biblestudies with friends. Even the snow, gently coveringthe northern landscapes, seems to cleanse ourthoughts and hearts, bringing us closer to ourSavoir, enabling us to hear His words, and toexperience His never-ending love for us.

Although the words of Burns’ song, Auld Lang Syne,refer to “the good old days,” we look to newbeginnings in the New Year. It is a wonderfulopportunity to open our hearts and find inspirationfrom God. This inspiration often comes from the

That’s Not Christian!Brother Andrew

Is someone that does not go to church and does notpray in the name of Jesus Christ fit to callthemselves a Christian? If you don’t read the Bibleand partake of Holy Communion can you callyourself a Christian?

Imagine a child that is brought up to know God butis taught according to a different creed. Theyoungster knows nothing of the teachings of Christand his parents, teachers and religious guides canonly refer the patriarchs and prophets for guidance.Can he be saved through Jesus Christ? The childhas special God given talents and he uses themselflessly; can he enter Heaven?

Perhaps you are beginning to question your beliefs,may be lacking faith? Perhaps that prayer wasn’t

‘answered’? Have you ever thought nasty thoughtsor said or done something that caused others to behurt? Have you realised your mortality? Join thecrowd, we have all sinned, doubted, said andthought and done things that we regret!

I come across people everyday that I regard as‘fundamentalist’ in their Christian beliefs. I haveexperienced a strongly judgmental approach when Ihave engaged with them. Perhaps you haveassociated with people of strong belief, may be youhave been criticised or perhaps you have agreedwith them. We all need to understand more and bemore tolerant of each other!

“Judge not, and ye shall not be judged:condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned:forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.” – Jesus, Luke6:37

You see Jesus wasn’t a Christian, He was a Jew;He didn’t go to church, He went to the Synagogue.Jesus didn’t read the Holy Bible, instead He studiedthe Tora. Yes He prayed to God and called Him‘Father.’ He was circumcised according to Jewishcustom. He was educated and guided by the Rabbiand when He healed, He did so in the name of God!

He most certainly didn’t pray to Himself and He saidthat we should love God above all.

Was the God of Moses; Abraham, David, Isaiah andJesus the same God that we worship today? I wouldsay undoubtedly that He is! “And lo a voice fromheaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, inwhom I am well pleased.” –Matthew 3:17.

As I see it, we are all sons and daughters of thesame loving Father. Yes we sin, yes we doubt,some of us don’t go to church, some don’t read theirBible. Many have different creeds and have beentaught according to other customs. Ask yourselves:Did God admit the patriarchs into Heaven? DidJesus enter Paradise? Did God answer theirprayers? Did He not deliver them from evil? DoesGod offer the same loving care to you? I think theanswer would come back as a resounding ‘yes!’ Ifwe were all perfect we would not need God! Thevery reason Jesus came to Earth was to save youand me and everyone else; thank God for Jesus!

“Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine isnot mine, but his that sent me. If any man will dohis will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether itbe of God, or whether I speak of myself.” John 7vs. 16-17

He has opened his eyes on occasionand looks in the direction of his name being calledand sometimes squeezes one's hand uponcommand. My grandson Christian of whom I asked you to prayfor last year and who was born three monthspremature is a healthy and happy child and hasstarting walking recently and is catching updevelopmentally quite rapidly!
