workers, children of convicts and needy disadvantaged children and

to promote Rural Community Development for empowering

children and women as a focus of development.

OBJECTIVES

Bhaje Balgram

Orphan children live in 10 houses looked after by housemothers, project incharge, and other staffs for their fooding, education, health, sports, cultural activities, and social interaction.Output- 97 Orphan children under rehabilitation programme.Impact- Live in family environment in Community setup since it started in 1990.Achievements- 13 children already became self-reliant and live with dignity, 9 girls got married.

Home for care and protection of orphan and needy children at the footsteps of famous Bhaje caves near Lonavla, Dist Pune.

Shel-Pimpalgaon Balgram

42 Orphan children live in 4 houses looked after by housemothers, project incharge, and other staffs for their fooding, education, health, sports, cultural activities, and social interaction. Output- 42 Orphan children under rehabilitation since year 2000. Impact- Live in family environment in Community setup. Achievements- 6 children already became self-reliant and live with dignity.

A model home of family environment existing in a rural agricultural setup having deep community values. One of the best performing centers for the growth and care of orphan and destitute children situated near Chakan area of District Pune.

Poynad Balgram

51 Orphan children live in 5 houses looked after by housemothers, project incharge, and other staffs for their fooding, education, health, sports, cultural activities, and social interaction. Output- 51 Orphan children under rehabilitation programme since the year 1999. Impact- Live in family environment in Community setup. Achievements- 7 children already became self-reliant and live with dignity.

A best childrens home project of Raigad District in Konkan coastal area near Alibag, Maharashtra. It is known for its good educational standard and community values for the growth of children.

Bal Asha Ghar

50 Orphan children live in 3 houses each of 3000 sq ft area looked after by housemothers, project incharge, and other staffs for their fooding, education, health, sports, cultural activities, and social interaction. Output- 50 children under rehabilitation

Impact- Live in family environment in Community setup.

Achievements- Free from immoral trafficking & living with dignity for better future.

A new center handed over to SAMPARC organisation for the care of the children of socially victimised women for their overall growth near Sahara Amby Valley Project, Lonavla.

Anjar Balgram (Gujarat)

40 Orphan children live in 4 houses looked after by housemothers, project incharge, and other staffs for their fooding, education, health, sports, cultural activities, and social interaction. 25 children of the community are also supported.

Output- 65 children under rehabilitation and educational growth.

Impact- Live in family environment in Community setup.

Achievements- A shelter for homeless children and children community support for confidence, education and proper life growth.

A childrens home started just after the devastating earthquake in 2001 at Anjar, in Kutch district, Gujarat to rehabilitate orphans and give them a care, protection, confidence and family environment

Shishu Kendra Kolkatta (West Bengal)

35 Orphan children live in the center looked after by housemothers, Project Director, and other staffs for their fooding, education, health, sports, cultural activities, and social interaction. 75 children of the community are also supported. Output- 110 children under rehabilitation programme. Impact- Live in family environment in Community setup. Achievements- Free from immoral trafficking, bad social impact and live with dignity for brighter future.

An orphanage started in South Kolkata so that orphans, children of socially victimised women to get care and protection, education and social support and to bond them with love, trust and values for their better future.

School & Hostel, Bhambarde

School & Hostel for poor, needy, tribal and village children for their overall care and education for future development since the year 2000.

Output- 226 Children of 14 villages are getting free education with support for sports, cultural activities and community empowerment programme.

Impact- The school has changed the mind and outlook of the people of the area.

Achievements- 33 students of the villages passed SSC first time after the Independence of the country.

A school started to provide education to the needy, poor, tribal and village children of remote backward 14 villages of Mulshi taluka, dist Pune.

Vocational Training Center

Training for School Drop out Children in the trades of Welding, Electrician, Armateur Winding, Plumbing, Carpentry, Computer, Tailoring, Beauty Parlour, and jewellery & soft toy making for boys and girls.

Output- 1560 children already trained.

Impact- More than 900 students are employed in industrial setup in Pimpri Chinchwad, Chakan, Khopoli, Rasayani and Lonavla. It is now a well-known institute in Maval taluka dist Pune.

Achievements- Over 60% of trained students got employed or started own business and become self-dependent.

A project for rural school dropouts which has become a center for skill development and social entrepreneurship among the youth to fight against poverty, unemployment and social insecurity.

Medical Center

Activity- Medical Center for poor & tribal people.

Output- 40000 people of 40 villages in Maval taluka are target to extend them health support and basic medical facilities.

Impact- Improved health condition in the region.

Achievements- Poor & tribal people who are under our support programme and we are in the process of developing a rural hospital.

An intervention in the life of rural community to extend them community health support and medical care so that the basic and primary help that they can achieve at our medical center at village Malavli near Lonavla.

Housing Project

Activity- Housing Project for homeless SHG Women which is now run under SAMPARC organisation as a housing society and community growth programme.

Output- 100 people from 12 villages live in decent houses.

Impact- Empowering the women and their living condition.

Achievements- Shelter for homeless poor people and now become a model for replication. .

Jimmy Carter who came alongwith 2000 volunteers constructed 100 houses for the SHG women members of SAMPARC organisation and became a SAMPARC housing project to give a start at national level. The project is known as a model housing society owned by women with the help of Habitat For Humanity.

Women Empowerment Programme

Activity- Programme for Poor Rural Women.

Output- More than 3600 women of 182 SHG’s from 25 villages are involved.

Impact- Improved Social, Economical & Political status for the women.

Achievements- Women are able look after family’s financial needs and bold enough to participate in Panchayat & Social Development activities.

3600 women are the members of the Self Help Groups a programme started by SAMPARC in the year 1994. Now has become a strong self managed womens programme of Maval taluka dist Pune. Also they run their credit cooperative society.

Shallow Well Project

Activity- Construction of Shallow wells and Horticulture development training programme.

Output- 36 families of small and farmers now helped to cultivate 2nd horticulture crops in a year.

Impact-Improved Social and Economical and mental condition of the farmers.

Achievements- The farmers now store water for cash crops for horticulture development.

A project to change the economy by enhancing the water capacity to take up vegetable cultivation, in 75 acres of land to triple the income of the 36 farmers of village Gutka, taluka Mulshi dist Pune.

Nanhi Kali Project

Activity- Educational Support programme for poor girl children.

Output- More than 428 girls of 32 villages are supported through the programme.

Impact- Girl children in the region aim not to drop out from Schools.

Achievements- Female literacy rate drastically increased to 100 % & girl child marriage totally stopped.

In the last 8 years the mindset of the girls and their families of the remote villages has changed to send them to school so that they can get involved in education and after the age of 18 years they can plan for their marriage and future goal.

Educational Support Programme

Activity- Educational Support Programme for poor students.

Output- More than 550 students of Mahrashtra, Gujarat & West Bengal states are supported through the programme.

Impact- improvement in the standard of living.

Achievements- number of School drop outs reduced at the community level.

Counselling the families, remove them from unhealthy activities and to organise to send them to school through community education support programme.

2- Educational Support for 150 poor rural students @ Rs.5000/- per student per year.

3- Expansion and renovation of existing structure of Kolkatta Shishu Kendra of 3600 sq ft area @ Rs. 700 per sq ft.

4- Construction of 4 classrooms of 2400 sq ft area for Std V - VIII in Bhambarde @ Rs. 500/- per sq ft

5- To raise corpus funds up to Rs. 18750000/- to make the organization self-sustained to run children and community developmental activities smoothly.

6- Construction of a hospital for service to 45 villages of Maval Taluka, Pune. to provide 40 beds for male and female patients, and other basic facilities. Rs.47100000/-
