The students of NITIE are provided with state-of-the-art facilities for the classroom, hostel,recreation, computing, and fitness for the overall development of students besides qualityeducation.
HOSTEL NITIE has three hostel blocks and an MDP building for the executives. NITIE boasts ofthe tallest hostel building in the country with 16 floors and a capacity ofaccommodating 800 students. All hostels are equipped with lifts, watercoolers,washing machines, common rooms, uninterrupted Wi-Fi connectivity, and indoorfacilities. The hostel ground floor also features vending machines for quick snacks.
COMPUTING FACILITIES NITIE is fully Wi-Fi enabled, where students can access Live Databases, OnlineJournals, and the World Wide Web. It has a dedicated computer center for studentsto access periodicals, keep themselves updated with day-to-day developments, andassist their studies. Business Simulation & games on Investment, PortfolioManagement are available to the students. The learners can also use a host ofCorporate Databases such as CMIE‘s PROWESS. NITIE is also equipped with a state-of-the-art video conferencing facility.
FITNESS CENTRE AND ERGONOMICS LAB It has a comprehensive state-of-the-art air-conditioned fitness center and ergonomics labwith world-class equipment and a floor area of over 5000 sq. ft. Trainers supervise theentire program, and personalized assistance improves fitness levels.
RECREATION FACILITIES A football ground, basketball ground, Badminton court, Table tennis, Recreation
room, TV Lounge, and Canteen are some on-campus facilities. In addition to that,there is a provision of regular yoga for fitness enthusiasts.
AUDITORIUM NITIE has two auditoriums, both fully air-conditioned, and is suited for holding variouscorporate talks, seminars, cultural events, executive development programs, and otheracademic and community activities. One in the new academic block is newly constructed,acoustically designed with a Wooden floored stage, fully equipped with all the latest soundand light systems, and has a tiered seating arrangement with a capacity of 300 students. Thesecond auditorium has similar facilities and capabilities in the existing academic block.
LIBRARY NITIE has well-furnished library housing over more than 55,000 books, 11,000periodical bound volumes, and 237 technical journals in the field of industrialengineering, manufacturing management, operations and supply chainmanagement, project management, safety and environment management,information systems, technology management, marketing, finance, economics.NITIE library possesses a rich assortment of printed and electronic reserves,including books, journals, databases, audio-visual materials, CDs/DVDs, e-journals,reports, case studies, training manuals. Additionally, various online services like CDstacker, INDIASTAT, Science Direct, EBSCO, IEEE publications, ACM publications arealso available.

Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Management (PGDSM) programme uses validGATE/CAT/GMAT/GRE scores as a part of the admission process. The program offer arigorous and professional education experience, a collaborative learning environment,market-driven concentration and programme flexibility.

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTSAdmissions to PGDSM courses is open to full-time graduates of all branches ofengineering/technology. The candidates must have aggregate 60% marks (relaxable by 5% incase of SC/ST/PWD candidates) with a valid GATE/CAT/GMAT/GRE score. Candidatesappearing for the final year of Engineering/Technology can also apply, provided they qualifythe above criteria for examinations appeared at the time of application and submit theirresult latest by September 30, 2022.

SPONSORED CANDIDATES15 seats are available for Sponsored Candidates in PGDSM. Candidates must be from reputedIndustrial Organization/Academic Institution and must have aggregate 60% marks in Bachelorof Engineering /Technology with two years of full-time work experience as on the last date ofsubmission of application as prescribed. GATE score is not required; however, they are requiredto attend a written test and interview to be conducted at the institute. The candidates should alsofill-in the Sponsorship Form available on the NITIE website.
INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATESEntry level qualification shall be at par with that of Indian students as specified underAdmission Requirement and the candidates should also have a valid GMAT score. Foreigncandidate should have a valid TOEFL or IELTS score. All the candidates are required to have aminimum of 18 (eighteen) months of stay at overseas countries as on last date of submission ofapplication as prescribed. All international candidates must submit a SOP (Statement ofPurpose) and two LORS (Letters of Recommendations) in soft copy. Shortlisted candidatesshould attend the interview along with Indian students; if not feasible, there is an option forinterview through video conferencing

50% Waiver of Tuition Fee: All students entering the postgraduate Programs whose totalfamily income does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh in the last financial year shall be eligible for50% waiver in Tuition fee (Academic Charges) under the Scheme Annual family income isdefined as the income of parents and spouse if any.
MEDICLAIMMediclaim Policy is mandatory for all students of NITIE enrolling to the various programs.Annual premium for policy coverage of Rs 1,00,000/- will be collected along with fee. Theclaim starts from first year of the student's tenure at NITIE.

IMPORTANT DATES
OFFER ACCEPTANCE, WITHDRAWAL, AND REFUNDCandidates shortlisted for admission to the Program at NITIE will be intimated by email,and online notification. Individual regret communication will not be sent to applicants. Acandidate receiving an admission offer from NITIE, Mumbai, and accepting the offerwithin the stipulated date specified must pay the full admission fee for one year to secure aprogram's seat. If a candidate subsequently withdraws the admission at any point in time,then the paid amount will be refunded after deducting processing charges as per norms asdescribed below:
A candidate who does not join the Program after paying the academic charges, otherannual charges and deposits, etc. and has intimated the institute of their decision ofnot joining, and if this intimation is received in writing by the Institute before thecommencement of the Program and if the waitlisted candidate fills the vacant seat,then the academic charges, other charges and deposits will be refunded as perGovernment of India rules vide notification no 144/2007 - U.3 (A).A candidate who discontinues after joining the Program or is terminated by theInstitute, whether at the beginning or midway, and the resultant vacancy cannot befilled by the waitlisted candidates, then the academic charges and other annualcharges paid by them will be forfeited. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIACandidates should have full-time Engineering/Technology graduation in any branch withaggregate 60% marks and a valid GMAT score. Foreign candidate should have a valid Testof English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score or The International English LanguageTesting Service (IELTS) score, TOEFL/ IELTS test scores more than two years old will not beaccepted for consideration.
At the time of application, all candidates will have to submit an SOP (Statement ofpurpose) and two LORS (Letters of recommendations) along with GMAT score and TOEFL /IELTS score (Foreign candidates only) for all the above Programmes.
Final year Engineering/Technology candidates can also apply, provided they qualify theabove criteria for examinations appeared till date. SUMMER INTERNSHIP A distinguishing feature of the NITIE pedagogy is the 8-week summer internship. Theobjective of this practical management assignment is to incline the students towards theapplication of the classroom learning that they get. NITIE campus witnessed a wideassortment of best-known names from both the Indian and the international businesscircles, giving its students a good number of choices in securing their summer jobs. Italso assists the students to be more receptive to the market needs and gain insight intotheir areas of interest to facilitate their specialization in the second year. It furtherserves as a platform for building a long and fruitful relationship between the instituteand the organization.
The recruitment for the 19th batch of graduates of the PGDSM course saw recruitersexhibit the same level of exuberance that the course has garnered since its inception.With new companies expressing their interests toward this program along with thetraditional recruiters, the students had a plethora of options to choose from.
Many distinguished companies from the E-commerce, FMCG, Consulting,Manufacturing and IT domain participated in the recruitment process this year. ETHICS COMMITTEEThe ethics committee ensures perfect harmony among the different committeesand the batch. It is also responsible for facilitating the functioning of variouscommittees and forums, overseeing their selection process, introducing ormodifying the rules to be followed by the batch, and solving issues they face. Theethics committee facilitates and leads many of the official batch-wide activities,ensuring that such undertakings are conducted in a timely and transparentmanner.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS COMMITTEEInternational Relations Committee is the face of NITIE to the world outside Indiaand is responsible for facilitating the exchange process for outgoing students andhospitality of the incoming students. It also works in tandem with the StudentExchange Offices of the various International Universities fostering new tie-upstowards the branding & increasing the visibility of NITIE to the world.
ITCCIT Coordination Committee (ITCC) acts as an interface between the students andComputer Centre and harmonizes the development and maintenance of ITinfrastructure at NITIE. The committee coordinates between the students and themanagement to process the IT infrastructure issues. Committee has aided theadministration in implementing technologies such as the Office 365 mailingsolution, Lync for internal communication, and implementation of Wi-Fi forstudent hostels and new academic building.
MARKETING INTEREST GROUPAs a committee, the aim is to keep a tab on the ever-changing dynamics in the realmof marketing and channel them towards the management students not just at NITIEbut across all B-Schools in the country. Few of our efforts to fulfill these dreamsinclude MahaMandi: During this day-long hustle, students get a one of a kindopportunity of selling educational aids on the streets of Mumbai and Marksfete,which is the Annual Marketing event we organize to bring together the industrystalwarts, academicians, and students to facilitate the public exchange of ideas andopinions.
MEDIA RELATIONS COMMITTEEEvery time you see NITIE in the news, rest assured that someone from MediaRelations Committee (MRC) has been on it for the past fortnight. MRC tracks andserves as the point of contact for 100+ media houses across the print, television,radio, magazine, and web media. MRC gives NITIE visibility through all itsendeavors, building relationships with media houses and managing their requests.They arrange moderators for all business meets at NITIE and are also the contactpoint for surveys conducted and external accreditation committees.
PLACEMENT COMMITTEEThe Placement Committee at NITIE is a student body working under the guidance ofDean SA and Prof. Incharge, Placements for carrying out all placements-relatedactivities. PlaceCom is a team of highly motivated students who work towardsobtaining the desired placement offers for the students in terms of both profilesand organizations to work with. In addition, it plays an instrumental role indeveloping and sustaining a symbiotic long-term relationship with the industry.Everything required for placements – right from slotting companies and arrangingthe necessary infrastructure to conducting this highly taxing and nerve-rackingexercise – is done by the committee with close guidance from Dean SA and Prof.Incharge, Placements.

PRERANA MANAGEMENT GROUPConceptualizing, planning, and execution of several business events under theumbrella of Avartan, including flagship Lakshya Business Visionary Awards, LakshyaDistinguished Leaders Award, Empresario Entrepreneurship award, Celebrity TalkShow- Cita De La Prerana, CEO conclave- Prerana Business Meet, Rock Show -Decibelzand batch engagement activities during Informals. The group is also aggressivelyengaged in boosting the brand value of NITIE among Corporate and B-school circuitsthrough Live Corporate Meetings.
RANKING COMMITTEEThe latest addition to the Roster, The Ranking committee, is responsible forcollecting, coordinating, and enhancing the parameters contributing to NITIE’sstanding among its academic competitors. The Ranking committee comprisespassionate individuals who assist in data collection, preparation, and submission, tobe considered for various Rankings. The committee also works on getting theInstitute and its programs accredited by governing bodies, thus, enhancing the NITIEbrand.
SAMIKSHASAMIKSHA, the industry interaction cell of NITIE, is the oldest committee of NITIE,which organizes industrial visits for the batch and helps in organizing Paneldiscussions, Guest lectures, and Ted talks of eminent industry personalities.Samiksha also helps bring weekend project opportunities and certificate-levelcourses from reputed institutions for the batch.
SPORTS COMMITTEEWe strive to nourish the budding sports talent and strengthen the sportingenvironment among business students. The events organized include an IntraCollege sports fest Zest, an Inter-College sports fest JOSH, Marathon, and Athleticevents. Other roles and responsibilities are managing sports inventory & college teamselection and coordinating with other Institute’s sports fest.
TDXTDX, a committee that comprises extraordinarily creative people, offers expertservices to promote the B-school events with mind-boggling teasers, banners, andposters. We set no boundary for one's creativity. We direct short films to encouragethe film freaks.

They dissect strategies of companies and discuss the variousalternative steps that could have been taken. They organize events like The LastSamurai in Avartan which is on the lines of Best CEO which concentrates equallyon all the areas of management and non-management to extract the best out ofthe participant.
ROTARACT CLUB OF NITIERotaract Club of NITIE is an institution based Rotaract Club that contributes to theavenues of Community Service, International Service and PersonalityDevelopment in and outside NITIE. The club particularly emphasizes on YouthLeadership and works towards creating responsible youth. The club conductsvarious drives like Sapling Plantation, Blood Donation, Thalessamia Check-ups,Cloth Donation etc and partners with peer Rotaract Clubs to organize large scalemovements.
SPICMACAYSPICMACAY - NITIE chapter is under the parent body SPICMACAY and promotesIndian classical music and culture amongst the youth of NITIE with its associationwith various stalwarts of Indian classical music. Spicmacay- Nitie gave NITIEansan opportunity to experience 1000 years old Indian traditions and culture bybringing eminent personalities from different fields on a single stage throughVIRASAT 2014.

NITIE PREMIER LEAGUENITIE Premier League organizes B-school annual cricket tournament which issimulated along the lines of IPL. NPL is not merely a cricket tournament restricted toteams competing, rather, it gives an opportunity to the cricket fanatics to test theirmanagerial, marketing, and leadership skills which come to the forefront during theplayer auctions and team bidding phase.
NITIE PHOTOGRAPHY CLUBNITIE Photography Club captures some of the precious moments of the NITIE lifewhich every NITIEzen can savor for their lifetime. They are responsible forcapturing all the interactive sessions by various guest speakers, along with thefun-filled Matki-Phod, dandiya dance, jamming session, etc.
ARTHARTH, NITIE’s quasi mutual fund, is an initiative of the students to have acommon platform for learning about capital markets. It is managed by studentfund managers, including fundamental and technical analysts.
C2XC2X, Chain to Excellence, is NITIE’s Operations and Supply Chain Managementinterest society. The theme of “Knowledge is Power” complementsacademia in SCM/Ops through a series of extramural lectures, workshops andcase studies. C2X also publishes ‘OPUS’, the student magazine on SCM/Ops.
