• Foreign tourists can get vAT refund for beauty treatment or cosmetic surgery procedures they have

received at qualified medical institutions by March 31, 2017.

* Provided that the service fee is less than KRW 2,000,000 per procedure, and departure must be within 3 months after procedure

Procedure must be eligible for vAT refund

•�Double eyelid surgery, nose surgery, breast augmentation·reduction surgery (Breast reconstruction

surgery due to breast cancer is excluded.), liposuction, wrinkle removal, facial contouring, odontoplasty

(teeth whitening, laminate, and periodontal plastic surgery), plastic surgery (Treatment of sequela due to

failed plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery of congenital abnormality, and reconstructive surgery due to

tumor removal are excluded.)

• Maxillofacial corrective surgery (Maxillofacial corrective surgery is excluded if orthodontic procedure is

done first.)

• Pigmented nevus·freckle·mole·melasma treatment, acne treatment, shaving treatment, hair loss

treatment, hair transplantation, tattoo and tattoo removal, piercing, lipolysis, skin regeneration procedure,

skin whitening, antiaging treatment, and skin pore reduction
