Hal itulah yang dirasakan oleh pencari kerja
lulusan baru yang dijumpaiOkezone, Dimas
Nurdianto. Dia mengakui bahwa dalam mencari
kerja, harus berhubungan dengan dunianya atau
sesuai bidangnya, yakni broadcasting.
"Saya basic-nya dari jurusan broadcast. Saya
cari yang di media saja, walaupun sedikit sekali
lowongannya di sini," ujar Dimas kepada
Okezone, belum lama ini.

Dengan laju pertumbuhan ekonomi
Indonesia tahun ini yang diperkirakan antara
6,1% hingga 6,5%, maka diasumsikan
tercipta lapangan kerja yang baru pula.
Namun agaknya laju pertumbuhannya tidak bisa
mengimbangi jumlah lulusan perguruan tinggi
karena sebagian dari mereka tidak terserap di
dunia kerja.
Tiga tahun lalu, misalnya, tercatat 200.000
lulusan perguruan tinggi -sesuai dengan data
Departemen Pendidikan Nasional- dan 30%
diantaranya masih menganggur.

Pengangguran produktif mencari lowongan pekerjaan
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan Institut
Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Kadarsah Suryadi, menjelaskan angka pengangguran intelektual di
Indonesia masih tinggi.
Suryadi menegaskan pertumbuhan industri manufaktur di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia
masih rendah. Sehingga, sukar menyerap tenaga kerja.
Menurutnya, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia masih ditopang oleh dominasi sektor jasa dan
komoditi sumber daya alam. Rendahnya pertumbuhuhan industri manufaktur berimbas kepada
terserapnya lulusan universitas di lapangan pekerjaan.

contingent workers such as freelancers and part-time workers.

Fastest-Growing Jobs WorldwideRESUME TIPS THAT CAN MAKE A GREAT IMPRESSION
Profile PictureUse your real face for your picture and not just a graphic or a
logo. It will make employers feel like they’re dealing with an
actual person and not someone anonymous.
Subheading and About MeMake sure you put in a subheading and fill out the summary
section of your page. This is your chance to sell your skills or
services.
PortfolioShowcase your work by putting up a portfolio and uploading
images, articles, audio, video, and even code. Portfolios aren’t
just for designers – all jobseekers can benefit from a visual
representation of past projects.
RésuméGive a rundown of your work experience, achievements,
education, and other relevant information. A comprehensive
résumé can help employers make up their minds about hiring you.
Fastest-Growing Jobs WorldwideRESUME TIPS THAT CAN MAKE A GREAT IMPRESSION
•Minimize descriptions of job tasks and maximize descriptions of
accomplishments. Sell it, don't tell it.
•Quantify your accomplishments: Show numbers, and
percentages to prove impact in a job
•List hobbies and volunteer experience when relevant to your job
target. Leave your passion for stamp collecting off the resume.
•Include graduation dates; omitting them raises suspicion and
calls more attention to the very thing you are trying to hide.
•If you are a recent grad, list a high GPA and relevant coursework,
school projects, and internships. Unpaid experience still counts.
