This is what I think a typical Sundara Karma listener looks

like. Sharing many characteristics of indie rock, for example the black skinny jeans. They have been worn by almost all indie bands at one point or other, and fans

have picked up on this. Black jeans also show that the

audience are both trendy and practical, as they are very

much in fashion and also go with any other colour, so they are a good choice of apparel.

I have put the age at around 19 years old, as the fans seemed to be mostly ranging from

early teens to mid 20s, so 19 seemed like a good average. This

shows us that Sundara Karma are really appealing to the

modern generation

The hair is quite scruffy and unkempt, showing us that the

younger fans are laid back and don’t try too

hard on superficial things.

They will have a keen love of music and

going to gigs. They will most likely be

invested in an instrument and might

be an artist in their own right, or be part

of a band.

This is a rough representation of a female sundara karma fan.

She would share common clothing choices with the males,

being black skinny jeans and then any form of top over that.

The girls in the audience seemed to be slightly younger

than the guys, and I have roughly averaged their age to be about 18. There were also a significanly smaller number of females at the gig when I saw

Sundara Karma live. This suggests that males are a larger part of the target

audience, and so maybe less girls have heard of them, or less girls are into indie rock

music? They would be equally into music as the guys,

probably knowing how to play instruments.
