DemographicDemographically my target audience is centered around the ages of older teens to 20s. This is because of the advantage of going to parties and being at the peak age of celebrating different achievement and celebrations. This includes both genders as this is widely cultured genre of music which connects everyone through different interests and social issues. These type of celebrations and atmospheres are only suitable for those of that age.

PsychographicsPsychographically, my target audience can be sen as individuals who can be ope about their individual self through this genre of music allowing thenm to express hthings they never could of through the connections, bonds, and communities that this music creates. Their interests are widely spread, including educationally such as reading books, going to university, revising therefore being able to have something which could be celebrated. Another trait with be the interets for social media and how our society has structured this particular age group to conform their identity to social media to share interests and connect with people you never knew existed, which also through electric dance music can open up more opportunities for their interests.Some of the audience could could have an interests in fashion, staying in the trend and reading fashion magazines to get inspiration to represent their confidence and personality. Lastly, through the aspirations of others they can come together and create their own ideas and look up to artists, writers, editors, musicians or whoever has their influencer.

Lifestyle ChoicesMost of my target audience would reach for the lifestyle of partying and letting loose to release stress from their exams, revision, work or any other issues that could be stressful. My target audience could also be seen as sociable because they want to get out and enjoy time. Choices can include my positive outcomes and regrets, these could be piercings, drinking alcohol, smoking, tattoos, playing sports, clothes shopping, going to festivals, driving etc. These choices and interests will also influence the type of advertising through the magazine such as discounts in shops, driving lessons, sport opportunities/lessons.

Tastes in Music and FilmsAs this music tends to evolve around other songs already produced to be remixed, my target audience can have a taste in any music and there are various songs and genres which have their songs remixed. As my magazine is target at this type of music, this might influence my target audience to subscribe to save on the offers available and get the latest updates and trends.I would not say there are any specific films my target audience would go for however there might be more of chance of them being a comedy, romance, action, or horror genre due to my own personal views and the types of movies that come out in the cinemas.

Shopping HabitsFemales are mot likely to go shopping for clothes as they have more of an interest in fashion than males. Males stereotypically prefer to play video game, watch films and sport programmes on tv.My target audience due to the fact of being young and in education or in work where they may of not had the opportunity to have placed into a high position would not necessarily be able to afford certain designers brands such as calvin klein, hugo boss or chanel. However highstreet shops are more likely to gain profit and be targeted towards younger people like my target audience as the items they sell are not as expensive and have the discounts available. These shops include new look, primary, H&M and Topshop/Topman.
