0It is incredibly important to profile a target audience so that a company understands who will buy their product.

0This is especially important for advertisers as they address the target audience of a product directly.

teens to early 20’s (18-25)0This is because this age group is more open

and interested to new and experimental media products.

0The predominate gender of our target audience would be male.

0This is because the plot of the story is more male dominated and has more masculine themes.

practical projects, students are often asked to create a short film.

0As the majority of our target audience are students, they would possibly be used to budgeting due to student loans.

0These students may have a part time job that gives extra income through university. These jobs could be related to film, such as working in a cinema or helping at local film festivals, where many short films are shown.

0Their economic background may vary as people from different socio-economic backgrounds go to university.

0The target audience will predominately be included into the indie culture.

0This means they would class themselves as individual in everything they do.

0They like all things that aren’t mainstream, whether that’s music, films, hobbies or image.

0They enjoy going out with friends with the same interests as them.

0They may also enjoy other creative activities, such as photography or graphic design

target audience own their own car because of cost.

0Some may prefer to use other transport to get around, such as a skateboard or a BMX as they’re light and easy to carry around.

0These types of transport also show an interest in an urban lifestyle.

0For food, the target audience will shop in place such as Aldi, Lidl or Tesco because of the low prices and high quality.

0For clothes, they may like brands such as Levi’s, Urban Outfitters and Topshop as well as shopping in vintage shops.

0For technology, it is likely that the majority of the target group will use Apple products. This is because the software is best for editing their films and other pieces of art they have created.

extremely varied, from new to vintage music.0They most likely will not enjoy mainstream

part in the target audiences lives, as it is where they can share what they have made in an easy way.

0Vimeo and YouTube allow people to share their creative talent, whether that’s music, film or art, so that they can gain subscribers and have their content shared throughout the Internet.

0These platforms will also be linked to all their social media profiles which will further spread their work.
