Fardhu Kifayah Apa beda dengan Fardhu ‘ain Contoh fardhu Kifayah yang lain

MENUNTUT ILMU KEDOKTERAN MENURUT ISLAM

1. Ilmu Kedokteran adalah ilmu yang bermanfaat,

2. Belajar ilmu kedokteran adalah Fardhu Kipayah,

3. Belajar ilmu kedokteran adalah untuk memperkuat keimanan kepada Allah,

4. Pendidikan Kedokteran berkelanjutan adalah harus bagi seorang dokter muslim

1. ILMU KEDOKTERAN ADALAH ILMU YANG BERMANFAAT

Syariat Islam menetapkan 5 tujuan utama yang mandatory bagi perorangan dan masyarakat melakukannya :

Faith, Life, Mind, Posterity, dan Property.

1. ILMU KEDOKTERAN ADALAH ILMU YANG BERMANFAAT

Ilmu yang bermanfaat adalah ilmu yang memperkuat hubungan manusia dengan Allah dan memungkinkan melaksanakan tugas yang diberikan Allah di dunia, mempertahankan kehidupan dan keadilan.

Tujuan ilmu yang bermanfaat adalah pembentukan manusia seutuhnya bukan kepada aspek materi, tetapi pada aspek spiritual dan manfaatnya kepada semua dimensi kehidupan.

1. ILMU KEDOKTERAN ADALAH ILMU YANG BERMANFAAT

Dalam persepsi materi, pengetahuan dianggap bermanfaat jika memberikan keterampilan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan materi dari masyarakatnya.

Karena itu harus difahami dasar fundamental ilmu yang bermanfaat menurut Islam

1.1. DASAR FUNDAMENTAL ISLAM DARI ILMU YANG BERMANFAAT

1. Allah menciptakan manusia untuk mengabdi kepada Nya (Q,51:50),

2. Mengabdi kepada Allah bukan hanya urusan ibadah saja (Q,6:62; 10:14)

3. Manusia diciptakan untuk menghuni dunia (Q 11:61),4. Menghuni Dunia memerlukan peradaban,5. Peradaban memerlukan ilmu dan teknologi,6. Ilmu dan teknologi digunakan untuk mengabdi kepada Allah

dan tidak menimbulkan kerusakan di muka bumi,7. Memahamin kehidupan dan alam semesta harus mendekatkan

diri kepada Allah (Q 3:9),8. Pintu masuk ilmu dan aplikasinya menurut Islam adalah

kehidupan yang baik sekarang dan di hari kemudian.

2. BELAJAR ILMU KEDOKTERAN ADALAH FARDHU KIFAYAH

Fardhu Kifayah is every knowledge indispensable for the right set up of life affairs. Medicine, as such, is necessary for the maintenance of bodies.

Study and practice of Medicine is a model of collective duties.

Every knowledge required by all moslems is fardhu kifayah.

2. BELAJAR ILMU KEDOKTERAN ADALAH FARDHU KIFAYAH

If moslems do not possess a much more better knowledge of science or invention than non moslems do, then all moslems are deemed sinful and accounted for their shortcoming,

The modern scholars tend to designate “fardhu kifayah” as “fardu ‘ain” to be achieved by every capable person, for which he will be responsible before the sight of Allah the Almighty.

2. BELAJAR ILMU KEDOKTERAN ADALAH FARDHU KIFAYAH

Al-Ghazali says:”Allah would not accept performing supererogatory worship (Nawafil), unless the prescribed duty is performed. For each person , mastering a knowledge or work in his/her specialization in order to enhance the significance of the Islamic Umma and to remedy any breaches is considered an observance to Allah”

3. BELAJAR ILMU KEDOKTERAN ADALAH UNTUK MENDEKATKAN DIRI KEPADA ALLAH

3.1. The sources of knowledge from the Islamic viewpoint,

The Universe visualizd and expressed in two world The world of the unknown, Allah The world of the known, universe with all its

creatures (Q 32:6,7), Duality of knowledge :1. Human knowledge of the world of the unknown,2. Man’s knowledge of the world of the known The sources of knowledge :1. Theoritical and applied sciences,2. Knowledge which the Moslem cannot get except

from a divine sources

3.2. Islamic explanation of Human Life

Qur’anic verses human has 2life and 2 death The human life cycle as follows:

1. The previous presence of man in some existence (Q 7:172),

2. The second stage starts with breathing spirit into foetus (attahment of the soul with body)

3. The third stage is death, terminates life in this world,

4. The fourth stage is the Day of Resurrection

3.2. Islamic explanation of Human Life

The purpose of life : Life on earth is the preliminary stage wich

determines man’s fortune in this world and in the Hereafter,

Trial and affliction are the underlying reasons for which Allah created worldly our life on earth (Q 67:2),

Man is involved in the experiences of trial in life while equipped with tools of success and failure, as he is endowed with mind and will to choose the path of good and evil,

Successfully passing the experiences of trial in life leads to the achievement of viceroyalty on earth at best .

3.3. Human errors in the curricula of the knowledge,

1. Deviation of natural disposition,

2. Errors in the methodology of utilizing knowledge sources,

A. Errors of the western world

B. Errors in the Islamic world

3.4. Effects of scientific development on Human concept

The more science advances in discoveries, the more it discovers that the essence of creature is too difficult to be perceived.

Allah is the Creator, and man is not but an explorer of the manifestation of the great creator’s power,

Hadist :”Think of Allah’s creatures and d not think of Allah’s self, or you will perish”

3.5.Faith-wise purpose of studying medicine and natural sciences

Study of sch science is not to be intended for reasoning Allah’s existence through His actions or His creatures.

1. Realizing Allah’s greatness by observing the greatness of His creatures, to enable man to serve Allah, such is due Him.

2. Understanding the characteristics of things and creatures, such as the human body, and utilising such understanding in the field of application for the purpose of making man happy and enhance his environment .

Hadist :“Seeking knowledge is a duty prescribed on every Moslem”,

The objective of Moslem doctor :1. Performing a duty and answering the devine callof

advancing in knowledge until the end of his life,2. Carrying a sublie message towards the Umma of Islam,3. Perfecting his work and skill to the degree that will make

him realize the right method leading to discoveries in the field of medicine,

4. Perfecting his profession to preserve people’s lives in compliance with Allah’s command to colonize the universe,

5. Raising up the level of health in Moslem communities to assist the Moslems in performing religious observances in the comprehensive sense of the concept, both on the individual and communal planes.
