    Abstract

    HaGun TREATMENT PLANT as a dust catcher and the air cleaner coal combustion products. Waste dust from

    the furnace was arrested using a low pessure wet steam at the steam room. Furthermore, in the clear air at roomraining. The results of this screening is clean air to be released into the environment.

    Abstrak

    HaGun TREATMENT PLANT sebagai penangkap debu dan pembersih udara hasil pembakaran batubara.Limbah debu dari furnace ditanggkap menggunakan wet steam low pessure at steam room. Selanjutnya udara dibersihkan di raining room. Hasil dari penyaringan ini adalah udara bersih untuk dilepaskan ke lingkungan.

    1. Pendahuluan

    Batubara sebagai sumber energi utama di industri dan power plant. Hasil pembakaran batubara berupa debu dan

    gas buang yang berpengaruh terhadap keseimbangan ekosistem.

    Selama ini, untuk pengendalian debu dan limbah gas hasil pembakaran batubara dengan menggunakanElectrostatic precipitator.

    Electrostatic precipitator mempunyai kemampuan untuk menangkap debu, namun belum sampai untukpembersihan udara yang akan dikeluarkan ke lingkungan, karena debu micro dan gas limbah belum ditanggulanginya.Akibat dari sistem Electrostatic precipitator, lingkungan di kawasan indistri masih terkontaminasi oleh debu microdan gas limbah.

    Pengalaman di lingkungan, hujan mampu menjadi pembersih udara. Hal ini terjadi karena air hujan dan unsurterkandung didalamnya mampu mengikat polutan yang ada di udara.Bagaimanakah cara hujan membersihkan udara?

    HaGun Treatment Plant dirancang meniru pola hujan dalam membersihkan udara. Sehingga udara dari prosesindistri akan dilepas ke lingkungan dalam kondisi bersih.

    Berdasarkan ungkapan di latar belakang, maka dalam hal ini, perlu di lakukan penelitian tentang proses pembersihanudara menggunakan HaGun Treatment Plant.

    2. Pembersih Udara Terdahulu
