    Tidal Wave

    Chi Kung

    By Gary J. Clyman

Afew years ago, when the editor ofInside

Kung-Fuasked me to write an article entitled,

10 Minutes A Day That Will Change Your

Life, I was not prepared. But a lot has hap-

    pened since then.

For the last 10 years, my tai chi student, Larry, has

been has compiling notes and collecting instructionalmaterial we hope to include in a training manual. This

compilation of Larrys notes from my teachings became

    The Nei Kung Bible!

Solitary BeginningI started learning Temple style tai chi in 1974. I was

taught chi kung in my teachers living room a year after his

school closed. I practiced hard and alone for five years. Iexperimented and formatted my chi kung system the way

wished I could have been taught.

I began teaching my Tidal Wave Chi Kung system in

1983. Ive had thousands of students from all walks of life.

Concise, simple, organized and powerful, my step-by-step

    approach has worked

    miracles for those who

    have experienced its

    affects.

    People with no previ-

    ous experience have

    been able to quickly cul-

    tivate their chi and create

    their internal vacuum.

    The Daily Practice Rou-

    tine only takes 28 min-

    utes to perform when

    following the video.

    They WereWrong

    Everyone told me I was

    wrong to teach chi kung

    to non-tai chi experts.

    They insisted that per-

    sonal attention was

    needed. In fact, they

    maintained, It could and

    should not be done.

They were wrong, and Ihave proven it thousands

    of times.

I did not create my chi kung

    system just for high-ranking mas

ters only. I created it for everyone

    regardless of previous experience

At the time of its inception, many

    chi kung seminars and books

    were available, but most turned

out to be a waste of time.

    After many requests for more,

    bigger and additional materials, I

    created and began teaching my

Mind Light Nei Kung Program. My

    programs have always been avail

able on video, DVD, via private

    instruction and group workshops.

But there is something new on

the horizon. Ten years after I cre-

ated my Mind Light Nei Kung Pro

gram I am unveiling The Nei Kung

    Bible.

    Condensing Breathing is the firs

    and most important technique in

my system. The chi kung system

    should be completed before

beginning the nei kung system. In

    fact, I believe Condensing Breath

    ing is the single, most-important

    practice in internal kung-fu.

    Activating your internal vibration

and your internal vacuum is simple and takes little time to

develop. Based on the intensity of your practice, in some

cases it can actually take only a few hours.

If you practice like your clothes are on fire, it can actu

    ize in raising your

    deservingness,

    which is another

    way of saying you

    self-esteem. When

    you practice Con-

    densing Breathing

    your whole world

    will change in a

    short time.

    Think of some-

    thing you wanted

    but never got. Its

    because you didn

    want it bad

    enough. When you

    practice Condens-

    ing Breathing, how

    ever, your view of

    the world will

    change and youll

    soon discover any

    thing is attainable.

    Every day can be a

    great day when yo

    start your day with

    Condensing

    Breathing.

Take this gift and use it well. Practice as if your skin is o

    fire.

ally take only a few hours. Take your time and take it

slow; practice like you have the rest of your life to

    accomplish something.

If circulating chi and cultivating internal power is so

important, how come nobody ever writes about it, talks

    about it or teaches it?

    Thats because most of

    the internal martial

    artists are confused

    about the concepts and

    what steps need to be

    taken to become inter-

    nal. This article repre-

    sents internal kung-fu

    practice as it relates to

    your internal vacuum.

    Raising Self-

    EsteemIt goes by the name

    Condensing Breathing,

    The Stickman, and it

    effects everything from

    raising your core tem-

    perature to increasing

    your metabolism; from

    modulating your immune

    system and curing back

    pain to ending depres-

    sion. It even helps raise
