ABSTRAK

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi teknologi, semakin semua sistem yang dilakukan rata-rata

berbasis komputerisasi. Salah satu contoh adalah sistem penjualan pada PT Excelso DP Mall Semarang

untuk mempermudah didalam melakukan transaksi penjualan dan merekap laporan hasil penjualan yang

dibutuhkan dan lebih efisien. Sistem Penjualan pada PT Excelso DP Mall Semarang ini dipilih karena dikaji

dari segala bidang lebih praktis, efektif, dan efisiensi dalam penginputan data maupun proses-proses yang

lain. Sistem Penjualan pada PT Excelso DP Mall Semarang dirancang menggunakan skrip VB.6 dan Crystal

Report untuk pendataan laporan dan SQL yog untuk databasenya. Aplikasi komputerisasi penjualan pada PT

Excelso DP Mall Semarang berfungsi sebagai proses input data, edit data dan bisa mencetak semua

laporan hasil penjualan yang dilakukan setiap hari. Kesimpulan nya membantu proses transaksi jual beli

yang semula manual , sehingga admin lebih efisien dan mendapatkan akurasi data yang tepat.

ABSTRACT

Seeing the development of the technology of the information technology, most of the activities are done by

the computer- based. One of the activities is the selling system at PT. Excelso DP Mall Semarang. The

company uses the computer to make all the selling transactions easier and to record all the reports of the

selling results which are needed and also make all the transactions become efficient. The writer chose the

selling system at PT. Excelso DP Mall Semarang because it was practical, efficient, and effective in the

activities both entering data and processing other transactions. The selling system at PT. Excelso DP Mall

Semarang was arranged by using skrib VB.6 and crystal report for entering the reports and using SQL yog for

entering the database. The functions of the computer application at PT. Excelso DP Mall Semarang were to

process the data entry, to edit the data and to print all the transaction out which were done by the company

every day. Following the reasons above, the writer concluded that the computer application helped the

process of sale and purchase transactions that were previously done manually. Thus, all transactions were

done efficiently and accurately.
