A. Sistem Informasi Manual

– Sistem informasi yg tidak menggunakan komputer

sebagai alat bantu memproses data disebut sbg sistem

informasi manual.

– Pola sistem informasi manual sangat sesuai untuk

masyarakat tradisional yg menghendaki perjumpaan

fisik dlm komunikasi, budaya teposeliro yg

menghendaki ungguh2 sebelum menyampaikan maksud

sebenarnya.

– Komunikasi ini berjalan lamban sehingga memungkinkan

terjadinya modifikasi informasi

– Pola tradisional yg kaya modifikasi sulit diterapkan pd sistem

komputer.

B. Sistem Informasi Berbasis Komputer (CBIS)

– CBIS adalah sistem infomasi yg terhubung (online),

tepat waktu (real time) dan dapat dipercaya.

– Sistem informasi berbasis komputer mempunyai pola

yg jelas yaitu sistem induk (super sistem), subsistem

dan subsubsistem yg tidak dapat diuraikan lagi.

– Kedelapan elemen lingkungan akan membantu

manajemen menjalankan sistem berbasis komputer

perusahaan dg baik atau sebaliknya memacetkan

pelaksanaan sistem tsb.

B. Sistem Informasi Berbasis Komputer (CBIS)

– Kedelapan elemen lingkungan itu adalah kelompok :

1) konsumen,

2) suplier,

3) serikat kerja,

4) Institusi keuangan,

5) pemegang saham,

6) pemerintah,

7) masyarakat global,

8) kompetitor.

• Jika elemen pemerintah mengharuskan

perusahaan atau organisasi melaporkan

penjualannya dalam rangka penetapan pajak

secara online maka perusahaan harus

melakukannya atau Bea cukai mendorong

penggunaan EDI untuk pencepatan proses

penetapan bea masuk barang impor maka

pemerintah mendorong penggunaan CBIS dlm

perusahaan

Komponen CBIS dan Hubungan Antarkomponen

• CBIS terdiri dari sistem informasi interprise (termasuk

didalamnya sistem informasi akuntansi), sistem informasi

manajemen dg kelima sistem fungsional didalamnya, sistem

penunjang keputusan manajemen, virtual office dan sistem

informasi eksekutif.

Komponen CBIS menurut Mcleod dan Schell

• Sistem informasi interprise, yaitu sistem informasi yg

memuat semua data transaksi perusahaan/organisasi secara

terperinci.

• Management information sistem, sistem informasi

manajemen ini terdiri dari sistem informasi pemasaran, sistem

informasi manufaktur, sistem informasi keuangan dan sistem

informasi SDM.

• Sistem penunjang keputusan manajemen, yaitu terdiri dari

Sistem informasi pendukung keputusan dan Sistem pakar


• Virtual office (kantor maya), adalah pengembangan dari

penggunaan office otomation yg sangat berguna jika mendapat

dukungan dari CBIS dan memungkinkan manajement

menghubungkan fasilitas2 kantor lewat jalur komunikasi

Pola Strategi Operasional yg Selaras Dg Strategi Sistem

Informasi

• Strategi perusahaan untuk perusahaan yg beroperasi pd

wilayah yg lebih luas dari sekedar sebuah kota atau regional

tertentu dapat dibagi berdasarkan wilayah geografi yaitu:

1. Strategi internasional, strategi yg mengutamakan kantor

pusat sbg pusat segala kegiatan dan laporan.kegiatan

diluar kantor pusat dianggap sebagai kegiatan penunjang.

2. Strategi multinasional, yaitu strategi yg menganggap tiap

cabang mempunyai keunikan tersendiri sehingga

pengolahannya diserahkan pd daerah yg bersangkutan,

kantor pusat hanya diberi laporan periodik

3. Strategi global, yaitu strategi perusahaan dimana

keputusan utama dilaksanakan oleh kantor pusat

sedangkan anak perusahaan wajib mengikuti.

4. Strategi transnational, adalah strategi yg mengambil sisi

positif dari sisi multinasional dan strategi global, yaitu

untuk kegiatan yg lbh menguntungkan jika dilakukan

bersama2 maka keputusan yg dilakukan oleh kantor pusat

atau regional headquarter, sedangkan untuk kegiatan yg

harus dilaksanakan secara spesifik maka kegiatan dpt

diputuskan oleh perusahaan anak.

juga didukung oleh keputusan menggunakan strategi pada

bidang sistem informasi dan teknologi informasi agar

penetapan hardware, software dan jaringan dapat saling

menunjang
