1. Phenomena “Aging Well” (Berlanjut Usia dgn Sehat);

2. Jumlah penduduk “Lansia” yang meningkat tajam (growth > 20% dalam kurun waktu 30 tahun) VISA expects 13 percent of all international travel by 2025 to be older travelers.

3. Life style hidup sehat dan anti penuaan telah menjadi “trend” di masyarakat;

4. Life style baru seperti ini diikuti pertumbuhan fasilitas-fasilitas baru, seperti : rumah sakit, health center, pusat-pusat kebugaran, gym center, anti aging center dll.

Indonesian health tourism may be worth close to $1 billion in 2013 for Malaysia

Indonesian total healthcare spend in 2012 was around $23 billion across public and private sectors and healthcare tourism to Malaysia and Singapore alone would probably add another $1.5 billion – 0.5% of GDP – of direct healthcare spend, if repatriated
