Pengadaan Listrik
Kebutuhan akan listrik adalah hal yang penting untuk berlangsungnya proses
produksi. Kebutuhan listrik PG. Pesantren Baru didapatkan dari generator pembangkit
listrik dan PLN dengan ditunjang oleh Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Diessel (PLTD)
sebagai cadangan.
Kebutuhan listrik untuk proses pengolahan pada PG Pesantren Baru, di
peroleh dari 2 TA (Turbin Alternator) yang mampu menghasilkan listrik hingga 4500
kw. Listrik yang dihasilkan digunakan sebagai sumber energi pada peralatan-peralatan
produksi yang menggunakan listrik sebagai sumber energi. Walaupun sudah
menggunakan TA dengan daya yang cukup besar, namun PG Pesantren tetap
menggunakan listrik dari PLN untuk penerangan pabrik dan perumahan dinas pabrik.
Pada kondisi tertentu (ketika TA mati) PG pesantren Baru menggunakan 2 unit DA
(Diesel Alternator) sebagai sumber tenaga listrik selama TA belum beroperasi. Di
bawah adalah spesifikasi 2 Unit TA yang dimiliki oleh PG Pesantren Baru :

Listrik dari PLTU digunakan untuk menjalankan proses dalam pabrik dan luar
proses. Kebutuhan untuk proses seperti menjalankan motor-motor penggerak pompa,
cane carrier, motor pengaduk, blower, bucket elevator dan centrifuge. Diluar proses
seperti untuk penerangan, kebutuhan kantor. Sedangkan listrik PLN digunakan untuk
kebutuhan perumahan. Pemakaian listrik diluar masa giling disuplai oleh PLN, jika
padam baru menggunakan sumber listrik dari PLTD.
Jenis Ketel Uap
PG. Pesantren Baru menggunakan ketel uap pipa air sebanyak 3 unit yaitu
Takuma, Yoshimine 1 dan Yoshimine 2 untuk memproduksi uap kering sebagai
pembangkit tenaga untuk turbin uap, disamping juga untuk suplesi pada proses.

Sistem Distribusi Uap
Dari 3 unit ketel pipa air yang dimiliki PG Pesantren Baru mampu
memproduksi uap baru ± 175 ton/jam. Tetapi dalam operasionalnya produksi uap
rata-rata perhari masing-masing ketel :
1. Takuma = ± 65 ton/jam
2. Yoshimine I = ± 35 ton/jam
3. Yoshimine II = ± 35 ton/jam
Sehingga total produksi uap rata-rata ± 135 ton/jam dengan tekanan ± 20–22 kg/cm2.
Uap baru yang telah diproduksi oleh ketiga boiler setelah melalui main steam
valve tersebut selanjutnya digabung pada bejana tekan yang di sebut steam header.

1. Product description:
water filter, the raw water is tap water, first goes by pre-treatment,
then by RO treatment. Through those treatments, can remove dissolving
salt 99% and harmful materials, like particle, colloid, organic
impurities, heavy metal ions, bacteria, viruses and heat source, etc.
