ABSTRAKSI
“Harapan Sejati” merupakan sebuah komposisi musik kantata
untuk paduan suara dan orkes kamar. “Harapan Sejati” mengarah
kepada Tuhan yang merupakan sumber utama harapan manusia.
Kantata “Harapan Sejati” disusun untuk paduan suara (sopran,
alto, tenor, bass), solis dan diiringi oleh orkes kamar yang terdiri dari
piano, biola, biola alto, cello, kontrabass, flute, oboe, trumpet,
trombone, timpani, dan harpsichord. Kantata ini terdiri dari lima
movement yaitu “Prelude”, “Haleluya, Puji Dia!”, “Janganlah Takut”,
“Ajarku Percaya”, dan “Selalu Ada Harapan”. Lirik komposisi pada
movement kedua hingga movement kelima disusun berdasarkan ayat
Alkitab dari kitab 1 Petrus 1:3, Yohanes 3:16, Mazmur 42:6, Keluaran
14:14, Ibrani 10:23, Yeremia 29:11, dan Amsal 23:18.
.
Kata Kunci : Kantata, harapan, paduan suara, dan orkes kamar.
ABSTRACT
Composisition of “Harapan Sejati” is a cantata for choir and
chamber orchestra. “Harapan Sejati” refer to God is a hope for
people.
This cantata consist of five movements : “Prelude”, “Haleluya,
Puji Dia!”, “Janganlah Takut”, “Ajarku Percaya”, and “Selalu Ada
Harapan”. Lyrics in second movement until five movement is based
on the word of God in the Bible from the book of 1 Peter 1:3,
Yohannes 3:16, Psalm 42:6, Exodus 14:14, Hebrew 10:23, Jeremiah
29:11, and Proverbs 23:18 . Cantata “Harapan Sejati” is composed
for choir (soprano,alto,tenor,bass) and chamber orchestra that
consists of violins ,violas , cellos , contrabass , flutes ,oboe, trumpet,
trombone,horn, timpani, and harpsichord.

karena kasih anugerahNya sehingga dapat memperkenankan dan
memampukan penulis untuk menyelesaikan skripsi ini.
